As we were walking, a dragon soared overhead.
"Dragon!" Sarah yelled as she pulled out her sword.
Buddy started flying up and started chasing the dragon. He shot a fireball that hit the dragon's tail. The dragon bellowed in rage as he sent a fireball coming down at me. Surprisingly, I pulled out the obsidian shield that I summoned during my fight with Herobrine that I thought disappeared alongside my powers. I put it in front of my chest and the fireball hit it which made the fireball disappear. Buddy started firing rapid fire flame at the dragon until the dragon disappeared in a heap of smoke and there was nothing remaining that was his. I looked at the shield in disbelief and was about to put it back in my inventory when it started glowing.
"What's happening?" Sarah asked.
"I do-" I said as I got cut off by a loud groan.
"I looked at the shield and noticed something. There was a skinny trickle of blood that trickled down it and fell down onto the netherrack below my feet.
"What was that groan?" Creeps asked as he looked around anxiously.
"It was me." A voice said.
We all looked around.
"Yes, yes, yes. I can talk." The shield said.
"What in the world is happening? Am I dreaming or is the shield talking?" Creeps asked while hitting himself on the head.
"First of all, you were crazy before this shield started talking and yes the shield is talking you dingbat." Sarah said with a tint of annoyance in her voice.
"Hey, no need to call eachother names, that's my job." The shield said putting on a creepy face.
"How can you talk? Did you get cast under a spell from a witch before you came out of the ground?" I asked the shield curiously.
"No, you're magic was so powerful that I just came out like that. But I didn't say anything when you were fighting Herobrine because it would distract you from banishing him." The shield said.
"This was all part of my plan. I have now officially released a deadly gas that will destroy the Nether and wipe it out of existence." The shield said with a sinister smile.
"This could kill Herobrine instantly. We have to kill him before it is too late. How long until Herobrine's fortress gets annihilated?" I asked the shield.
"17 hours." The shield said, now cackling histerically.
"Well, we better go before we di..." Creeps said as he fainted.
I started to get sleepy until I blacked out.
"Ow!" I said as I rubbed my face.
I looked around at my surroundings as I woke up. There was a man clad in red and a woman also clad in red who were standing in front of me. I recognized the two as Alexia and Herobrine. I looked around and saw Creeps and Sarah slumped down against a chair surrounded by string that did not let them escape.
"1 on 1. Here. Right now." Herobrine said as he motioned for Alexia to leave with Creeps and Sarah.
"First, where are you taking them?" I asked.
"I'm taking them to the lava pits of Duke Grandulia." Said Herobrine.
"No!" I yelled as I ran after them.
"I'm sorry for what's about to happen, Herobrine." I said.
I turned around, whipped out my sword, and whacked Alexia on the kneecaps causing her to fall down and then I stabbed her in the heart. She burst and left a ring of items surrounding the place which she stood moments before.
"No!!!" Herobrine yelled as he charged at me with his redstone sword.
"Guys! Run and go to the Overworld. Take Buddy with you-" I said as a arrow protruded from Creeps' heart.
Creeps sunk low into the ground until he tripped over the edge of the bridge
"Why?!" Sarah yelled as she knelt over Creeps' body.
"L-let's go." She said as she and Buddy ran out.
Herobrine and I started to fight more. We ended up on a bridge like the one that I fought the King on. I hit Herobrine once in the legs causing him to topple over. I was about to deliver the killing blow, when he did something unexpected. He did a backflip, jumped up, and landed a critical hit on me. I flew backwards and landed on cold, hard stone. My whole body was stiff. I couldn't move a muscle without wincing in pain. But then, I remembered that Creeps died because I brought him here. I stood up, still shaking from the impact and looked down the bridge. Herobrine was nowhere to be seen. I looked around, and then, I started to choke.
"Aaacckk!" I choked as I kicked backwards causing the force that was choking me to retract its grip from my neck.
I started breathing heavily while rubbing my neck. I turned around to see that Herobrine was standing there with his sword raised about to make the killing blow that would end me forever. I tried to sidestep out of the way but it was too late. Herobrine's sword slammed into my side causing me to start bleeding. I stood up, now anger pulsating throughout my veins. I took out my sword and ran at Herobrine. But then, I stopped. I thought of something. The only way to kill Herobrine forever is to get him in contact with lava. I knew what I had to do. I pocketed my sword and ran at Herobrine at full speed. This caught him by surprise, so it gave me the ability to tackle Herobrine off the bridge with me. As I was falling towards the lava pit below, my life flashed in front of my eyes. I remembered when I first met Sarah. I was 7 and it was Christmas. I went through the village with my family singing Christmas carols to every house in the village when we came by her house. When her mom opened the door, she welcomed us in seeing that we were shivering. As my parents were talking to Sarah's parents, I looked around the house and fixated my vision on one corner of the room where Sarah stood hiding behind a pillar. I walked over and introduced myself and then we played for a while. I guess that since then, we became better friends as time went by. I felt the heat consume me. I was dead.
