Chapter 11: Unexpected Expectations

The next day started off decent for Gwen and her husband Trent.

She and him were about to head over to the aftermath show auditorium with their daughter that afternoon.

—Scene at the couple's apartment; at 1:15 PM—

Trent was packing two important items he almost left behind at the last minute before leaving the apartment.

"Good thing it didn't take that long for you to pack your bag. We do't want to get caught in traffic and miss out on the assembly that Bridgette organized." Gwen said to her husband.

"I thought I had my cell phone and keys but I guess not. Luckily I remembered to double check before taking off." Trent told her.

"It looks like we're all set and we can go now."

"Alright." Gwen replied.

The two of them then exited their apartment with their daughter and drove off to meet Bridgette.

—Scene at the Aftermath Show Auditorium; at 2:10 PM—

Gwen and Trent arrived at the auditorium and took seats in the peanut gallery where the other former contestants were sitting.

"Bridgette said she was going to discuss about celebrity living conditions at this presentation and I wonder if she'll be interviewing us." Gwen said to Trent.

"We've been living as both civilians and celebrities within standards for most contestants and nothing really unusual happened between us since Erika was born." Trent replied to her.

"Things haven't changed much for the two of us the last time we spoke with her, yet I have a feeling we'll be facing a moderate turn of events later on." Gwen conjectured.

"I suppose we can talk to Bridgette about the positive and negative results of our status." Trent suggested.

—2:15 PM—

Bridgette got onstage to start the assembly.

"Welcome to this afternoon's presentation Total Drama contestants and fans." Bridgette greeted the audience.

"Today I will be co-hosting with Geoff reviewing the latest updates in regards to the former contestants who had consent."

Geoff then walked onto the stage to meet with Bridgette and the audience.

"Hello everyone. It feels good to meet up on the show again." Geoff said to the audience.

"Our peanut gallery will be on crew for this event, so please give them some appreciation."

"That's it for our introduction. We'll now begin the main broadcast." Bridgette said to the peanut gallery and rest of the audience.

Trent and Gwen as a pair were the first to be interviewed by Bridgette.

"So how has it been lately for you two?" Bridgette asked Trent and Gwen.

"Life for us has been pretty much the same as the last time we saw you." Trent told Bridgette.

"Our daughter Erika has grown a little, but living conditions between us remained consistent and unfazed. Gwen explained.

"Things are going smoothly so far. Aside from our current state, Gwen and I are prepared for the common unexpected occurrences just in case." Trent mentioned more.
