Chapter 3

"Okay... 1A right?"

I looked at the huge ass door in front of me and was thinking what in the world happened for the school to think that large doors are a necessity. I passed the tests (obviously) and got into class 1A (obviously) which was one of the classes that taught the hero course. If I'm not wrong, 1B was also another batch that was in the hero course. I wonder what other courses there are?

I opened the door to see my other classmates just chilling aside from a weird blonde and robot man that were arguing with each other. I just ignored them and went to a random seat near the back of the classroom.

???: "Hello!"

I looked and saw a cheerful pink girl looking at me. "Hello, is there anything you need?"

???: "Ah not really. I was just thinking if we could be friends? Since we are classmates after all."

"Sure, I have no reason to refuse. My name is... Y/n, y/n Invictus."

Mina: "My name is Mina! Mina Ashido! Nice to meet ya y/n!"

"Likewise."

Mina: "I've been wonder for a while... are you a boy or girl?"

"Well-"

Suddenly, a weird scream was heard and I looked to the front to see a scraggy looking person holding up what looks like exercising clothes.

Scraggy dude: "Go change and meet me at the fields."

We all went to the fields after changing and lined up.

Scraggy dude: "We are going to have a quirk assessment test."

Everyone: "Quirk assessment test?"

Brown hair girl: "What about the entrance ceremony?"

Scraggy: "If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events. U.A's selling point is how unrestricted it's school traditions are. That's also how teachers run their classes.

The quirk assessment test will be similar to your fitness tests. You have been doing it since Junior high right? A fitness test restricts your usage of quirks. A quirk assessment is the same but utilizing your quirks."

He proceeded to toss a ball towards the blondie from before.

Scraggy: "Bakugo, how far was your best softball throw?"

Bakugo: "67 meters."

Scraggy: "Now use your quirk to throw it. You can do anything you want as long as you stay in the circle." *points to the circle Bakugo is standing in*

The blondie now dubbed Bakugo, took a deep breath and launched the ball with a large explosion while yelling "SHI NE."

"705.2 meters" Scraggy showed us the counter that showed Bakugo's score. "That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero."

Hmm. I smirked. This school is pretty good.

For most of the test, I just went at it casually since I don't really need any help from my powers for most of them.

First Test: 50 meters Dash

Result: 0.5 seconds

Second Test: Grip Test

Result: 500 kg

Third Test: Standing long jump

Result: 200 meters

Fourth Test: Repeated sidesteps

Result: 600

Fifth Test: Softball throw

Result: 10km (thrown like a javelin)

Quite anti-climatic seeing as I didn't really try for most of them.

I looked over to the scraggy dude and saw a weak throw from the broccoli kid that I saw a few months ago. I didn't realize he was here! How did he pass the test tho? He looks quite underwhelming. The scraggy dude pulled the broccoli kid to the side for while with the rope scarf around his neck before he returned to do a second throw.

I looked at the broccoli kid as he got ready for his second attempt. He held his arm back and launched the ball with a sudden burst of energy while yelling something.

I was a bit surprised to see that the weak looking kid actually had a decently strong quirk. He held his arm for awhile before saying something to the scraggy dude that i presumed to be the class's teacher. I looked at the kid's arm before noticing his finger was heavily injured. After seeing what the teacher did the first time he tried, I pieced together that his quirk possibly caused a heavy toll on the user's body. That's why the teacher stopped him the first time... I see.

After the quirk assessment test was over, the teacher sent him to the nurse. I followed him and met up in the nurse office.

Broccoli: "Oh hey! You're the person from before!"

"Yea and I see that your quirk has a heavy drawback, so I came to check up on you."

Broccoli: "T-thank for worrying about me even tho we just met but its fine. R-recovery Girl will help me."

Recovery Girl: "Hm? There's two? I don't think you are injured are you?" The old lady pointed at me.

"Nah, I was just wondering if I could help his injury. If I may ask, how does your quirk heal a person?"

RG: "My quirk speeds up the natural healing of the body by expending their energy. The more sever the injury, the more energy is expended."

"I see... Then its best if I didn't help him I guess."

Both: "What do you mean?"

"I can also heal, but it returns the state of the body to before the injury. Naturally healing the body allows it to get stronger so that it is more resistant to the thing that injured it."

Broccoli: "I see...will then, *towards Recovery Girl* I'll be in your care."

"So how is he?"

"I already told you that's a girl!"

"Quite you two"

Aizawa: "I wanted to erase their quirk to test it out but the thing is... they didn't use their quirk in the quirk assessment test at all. I also can't call them out since their results are ridiculous even for people using quirks."

"Are you serious?"

"Heh Aizawa, smart of you to use them to refer to that person."

"Yea you should just use she-"

"I told you that he is a *breaths* GUY!"

"WELL I-"

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT!"

Recovery Girl: "I think i have something you all might be interested in. Its about his quirk or something. When Midoriya was coming in for his finger, He followed and told us that he was also able to heal people but it reverts the state of the injury instead of mine which was speeding the natural recovery."

"She's able to heal also?"

Nezu: "Its confirmed that we really do not want whoever that is to be on the villains side. Fortunately, it seems that there is no evidence that they are on their side. However, we must still be careful. Especially with the successor of One For All around."
