Fiona had been living with Ankit for two years. By now, Ankit knew all about Fiona's home planet, Bacchus, the planet of Wine. And now Ankit was on Fiona's fricycle on the way to Bacchus. Fricycle was a small vehicle that was used by Bacchi for travel. Simple, yet efficient. Ankit was very nervous.
Two years ago, when Fiona have just materialised in Ankit's house, he had tried to kill her. She was tiny, pink and innocent-looking. Even now he shuddered whenever he remember that scene. He had been scared of her, just had she had been scared of him. Then she had told him all about herself, about Bacchus, about how her parents had warned her not to jump to high due to no gravity, how she had done so, and how she had promptly fallen into a wormhole. It was just sheer luck with that the wormhole didn't take her in a different time, though how she knew that, she had no idea. Ankit was a boy of 18, who had just completed school. He had protected the alien by giving her her own blanket and pushing her under the bed whenever anybody was in sight. He had been excited about this journey ever since he knew that inter-planet travel was possible. And now, in a couple of minutes, he was going to land in Bacchus.
The place had mauve soil. That came as no surprise, since it was the Land of Wine. As the fricycle landed, he noticed that it was landing on an island. On closer inspection, it turned out to be a sea of curious Bacchi, all with the same turquoise hair. Once their curiosity waned, fear took its place. Then Fiona stepped forward. She was fluent both in English, as she was a fast learner and Ankit had taught her, and Bacchenese. She explained who Ankit was. The Bacchi were overjoyed when they heard of life on another planet. Then their leader, Elvendork spoke. "This calls for a celebration" he said. They all went to the local amphitheatre, sang, danced and of course, drank wine. It was so tasty that Ankit, who was currently interested in Greek mythology, felt that Dyonisus himself must have blessed the place. He was also presented with his own fricycle so that he could visit them whenever he wanted to. Then, exhausted after the party, all the Bacchi fell asleep.
Ankit slipped away with his new acquisition. He really like this place, but it was not his. If anybody from Earth came to know, it would be misused. And it was clear that Earthlings did not belong here. This place was too happy, a lot different from his ever-complaining, always conflicting Earthlings. With these thoughts, Ankit mounted his fricycle to go Home.
