JIYEON'S POV

I can't believe it.

We were kissing yet this felt so much different. This felt indescribably euphoric, It felt like somehow, I achieved something I've always longed before. This is the second time he's kissed me, but this time it felt much more meaningful. It was as if colors burst out in the background. As if I felt the love that was hidden in all actions and words we've disregarded. As if this was all meant to be.

I couldn't help but feel the energy that surrounded us at the moment. My hands were slowly and unconsciously wrapping around his neck as his were now on m lower back. The gap between us began to disappear as our bodies collide. The kiss was slow yet undeniably sweeter than sweet.

I never wanted to admit but, this felt much more right than how I felt it with Jin.

Pants and deep breaths were heard once the warmth of our lips attached together ceased. I couldn't afford to look at him after what we just shared because I knew my face felt hotter than boiling water.

A finger was placed under my chin, making me look at him straight in his beautiful dark orbs. We stared, getting lost amongst ourselves until he placed a soft peck on my forehead. My eyes closed when I felt the touch and it lasted for quite a few seconds. I opened my eyes back when the feeling disappeared and then he let go of me.

"I...I have to tell you something" he trailed off. I kept silent as a sign for him to go on

"You know... when Jin hyung arrived, we started to get distant. I mean, It was a good thing because we had less chaos and we finally lived a peaceful life, well that was back then. At first I got curious about this 'Mr. Worldwide Handsome' and wanted to find out why you were always with him but as time passed I gradually got happy because I no longer had to see you near me" He took a glance at my glaring figure but quickly shuddered back to looking at his front.

"Sooner later Jin hyung and I became friends and then you two were officially together. I didn't know what to feel. I got confused. During those times when we had our double dates. You know you and hyung then me and my flings. I started to realize that I missed you being all nosy. I missed your stubbornness. I missed your stupidity and everything annoying about you" He lightly laughed and I let out a scoff.

"So you like me" I leaned into him, on my tippy toes giving him a smug suspicious look.

"I do" He said straightforwardly. That took be a back.

Okay, definitely did not expect that

I stayed silent because I felt him looking at me with a smirk. I got tensed.

"I did realize that I indeed like you and when we were announced engaged I felt a glimpse of happiness soar through my being, but your reaction made me feel guilt. I knew how much you like hyung. Just the way you look at him was more than priceless. When you didn't return that night I thought you ran away and would never come back. It pained me and I just wanted to let you be. Then you came in the morning, lifeless, I wanted to solely oppose to what our parents have come up with but the word wouldn't come out. I guess I was to high up on wanting to have you. and then you came down saying that you'll accept the marriage, you didn't know how much I wanted to hug the life out of you. I never knew that I would actually like you."

My heart softened and I grew shock at everything he just confessed. I looked at him and he had teary eyes but he was smiling.

"The one who I thought was a monster before" and he received a smack at the back of his head for that.

He laughed and gave me a tight hug.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I ruined your happiness. I'm sorry you had to go through this. I'm sorry that it pained you. I'm so-" I placed my index finger over his mouth and hushed him.

"It was never your fault" I smiled and caressed his face

"But I promise you, I will not only try but will surely protect and care for you. I will be there for you with every single step we take. I will never leave you. We'll face everything though thick and thin. I will make you smile each and everyday. And I promise that it will always be you." A tear cascaded down his cheek and I wiped it with my thumb before pulling him back to a hug

"Jungkook..." He hummed in reply "Can we take this slowly? I'm not ready yet. Can you wait for me?" I asked

"As long as it takes" He said and placed his chin on top of my head

At that moment the skies were filled with various colors and loud booming was heard from outside. They broke from each other take a look outside to find that beauty was displayed in front of them.

There was a fireworks display outside. I was amazed at how it filled up the dark sky. I took time to appreciate it and wonder how light can be so alluring to one's eyes. I slowly turned to look at Jungkook who had a grin plastered on his face.

"Well surprise" he murmured but it was enough for me to hear what he said. A smile crept up onto my lips

"It's actually my first time up here in London Eye" he turned to look at me and got shook. I let out a giggle "And you made it much more special. Thank you."

And I didn't hesitate to just give him a little peck on the cheek

He got all flustered and his face turned red

How cute.
