Chapter 1

"Haven! Hurry up! We gunna be late!" Karen yelled up the stairs of our new apartment.

"Yeah yeah! Calm down! I'll be right down Karen!" I yelled back while putting on my heels.

First day of summer break and we are going to my friend Tony's party, I'd rather stay home and watch movies the whole time. But Karen wouldn't let me do that.

I was finally ready to go, red heels and tight black dress. Karen's favorite, I gave her 5 choices! but she picks the most skimpiest one I have.

"See! Now all the boys will be staring even harry." She winked as I walked down the stairs.

"You know that harry & I are done Karen, that isn't happening again." Who am I kidding? I'm still totally in love with him. I think?

We raced to the party, Karen was always the party animal when I, I was the one who would stay in and read a book over going out any day. I have a big dream of a bright future, I wanna be a therapist for the criminally insane.

I know it's a big risk, but it's a passion I've always had. To find out what made everything go dark.

"Ready haven?" Karen says looking into the car mirror fixing her makeup.

"I guess." I say pulling down on the hem of my dress that hugged all my curves.

We walked in and Karen walked away from me, great. I had a book in my purse, just in case this happened. I went into the backyard on the porch, where no one was. I started reading.

The Great Gatsby, one of my favorite books. But one of my least favorite quotes was the one about how "the best thing a girl can be in this world is a beautiful fool."

I know this was from awhile ago, but I still think about how people could actually think that.

"Hey Haven!" I heard a familiar voice from behind, it's was Tony and he was beyond drunk.

"Hey Tony." I say looking back at him.

"What? No hug?!" He said laughing.

I got up quickly and gave him a hug. Tony was always just a friend to me nothing more, but when he gets drunk, he becomes attached to anyone he can.

"Okay, I think it's time you get inside Tony, it's cold out here." I said pulling him to the back door.

"Then why are you out here?" He said smiling and fighting back, I gave up trying to bring him inside.

"You know parties aren't my-"

"But look at you! You look Perfect tonight." He said checking me out, "Just one drink, come on haven."

"Just one drink." I say giving up.

I grab my purse and slip my book back in there. I'm not stupid enough to bring my wallet, the only thing I brought was my book tonight.

"There you are haven!" My best friend, Rainy called out.

"Hey rain, how long have you been here?" She asked giving me a big hug.

"Only about a half an hour, you?"

"Just got here." She said excited, I was always the 'nerd' out of the girls.

As we carried on with our conversation, I felt a pair of eyes on me. I just ignored the feeling for the while, but it got annoying.

"Okay Haven, I'm gunna go and get a drink. I'll talk to you later, and you look hot tonight!"

"Oh shut up!" I yelled as she walked away.

I turned around and walked over to see Karen, Tony and Nicole doing shots. I just laughed because I knew that Nicole was only here to get with Tony again. They have a thing I guess you could say.

"Hey haven, wanna do a shot?" Nicole smirked, I should slap that smirk off her face.

"I guess." I say giving a small smile to Karen.

I hate drinking, I may do it here and there but I hate drinking at parties because everyone gets drunk.

"1-... 2-.... 3!" Tony shouted as we a through our head back as we let the liquor go down our throat, feeling the amazing burning sensation.

From there the whole night was full of dancing, drinking and laughs. I had gotten beyond drunk, and everything felt like it was just a daze.

I stared walking to the pouch to go get some air, when someone spilled there drink on me. You couldn't see it on my black dress but it noticeable

"Oh I'm sorry man!" A random man said, he looked down at me with sorry eyes. I grabbed some napkins and stared to try and dry it.

"It's fine." I said walking away, this would happen to me.

"Haven! Come here!" Tony yelled for me, I pointed to the pouch and stared walking again.

I sat down to see Tony and 2 other handsome boys walk out.

"You okay, love?" The one with beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair said.

"Yeah, someone just spilled there drink on me." I said shrugging.

"Here, you can use my jacket to cover it." I couldn't see him face very good but I knew he was handsome. His eyes followed up and down my body.

"Thank you." I said as he gave me his leather black jacket.

"Well Haven, this is Niall and Zayn." He said pointing to the boys.

"Nice to meet you guys." I got up to shake there hands but they had a different idea, they both gave me a hug.

The night went on smoothly, expect that Zayn had been staring at me occasionally.

"Ow!" I said as I almost fell over because of my huge heels.

"It's okay baby girl, I got you." I look up, my eyes meet those green emerald ones I fell in love with.

"Harry?"
