Chapter 2

"Harry?" I said smiling.

"Who else would it be love?" He said with a smirk and that dimple.

I stood up and fix myself, we carried on with our conversation. He was so charming like always

"Hey Haven, can I borrow for you a second?" Rainy said pulling my hand.

"What was that all about rainy!" I said once we got away from everyone.

"Haven. You know he is no good! You've been with him for a year! You know he is an asshole Haven! I'm your best friend, I'm looking out for you, so please don't go back with him."

"I won't." She was right in every way. He cheated, lied and worst of all, told me he loved me.

She hugged me and walked away.

this party was getting out of hand, everyone was drunk and Karen was baked. I can't drive because I'm still a little tipsy, all I wanna do is leave. Harry is here and all it's doing is making me stress out.

"Hey." Zayn said smiling at me.

"Hi." I said giving a small smile.

"What's wrong?"

"Noth-"

"Don't bullshit me." Zayn said giving me a type of stare I've never seen. Angry? Being protective? I have no clue.

"Well, Karen is too high to even walk," we both look over at her laughing at herself. "And I'm still to tipsy to drive, and I just wanna get back to the condo and go to bed." I say with a sigh

"I'll drive you guys." He said after a few seconds.

"Really?" I turn to him, with a big smile.

"I don't see why not." He says standing up and reaching out to grab my hand.

"Thank you so much Zayn!" I say giving him a hug.

"Come on Karen we are going home." I say over to Karen who can kinda walk.

"Okay!!" She says laughing.

I walked over to help her walk, it would be a hard morning for her tomorrow. I sat her down in the back set and buckled her in.

"Hey! What are you doing with my Haven?" Oh god harry.

"Harry he is just driving me home, go back inside your drunk!" I yell walking over to him.

"No haven! I know Zayn, he doesn't just 'drive people home'." He pushed me back, and I almost fell but Zayn caught me.

"Harry man, calm down, I'm just gunna drive her home. I promise she'll be safe man." He said to harry but he wasn't believing it.

Harry walked up to Zayn and pushed him into the car door and grabbed him by his collar, inches away from him face.

"You hurt her, and you dead." Harry spit

"I promise she is safe." Zayn said back calmly.

Harry let go of his collar and Zayn opened the drivers side of the car, and stared the car. I walked to the passengers side, and buckled myself in.

"you be careful!" Harry yelled at me.

I had tear-filled eyes. I looked out the window, I love harry but why is he so protective now? When I finally put the pieces back together.

"Haven?" Zayn said quietly

"Yeah." I said trying to hide the hurt in my voices.

"Why are you crying?" He picked up his hand brought it to my chin, so he could look at me.

"Harry-.. Well we dated for a year, then he left me..." I had to breath, so I didn't burst into tears.

"He left me, he was never protective of me like that before. And I don't know what that means. It's like he comes into my life and treats me like shit-... Then he sees me with someone else , and breaks me again once I've been fixed." I say lets the tears fall.

"I'm sorry for crying, I promise I'm not as weak as I seem right now." I say laughing.

"Your not being weak." Zayn said keeping his eyes on the road.

"Turn left here." I tell him, I live on a Main Street so it wasn't even hard for him to know where he was going, most collage kids live here.

"What condo number?" He asked

"220." I said back

"You live in a very nice complex." He said turning into my parking lot.

"How would you know." I say joking, just trying to lighten the mood.

"I live here too." Zayn said getting out of the car.

I was about to open the door but Zayn beat me too it, he opened my door for me and got Karen out.

We made our way to out 2 story condo, it's a little pricey but worth it. I open the door to let Zayn and Karen in. I take off my heels, my feet are killing me.

"Wow you're really short." Zayn said laughing.

"Oh shut up." I say throwing my head back in laughter

"Okay well I better get going, it almost 2. See you again?" He said walking back to the front door.

"Yeah, just message me! bye Zayn." I say opening the door for him.

He gave me a hug goodbye, and with that he walked out the door. I realized I still had his jacket.

"Oh Zayn! Wait! Your jacket!" I yelled out the door.

"Keep it! I don't need it anyways!" He said with a smirk and with that he was back in his car.

I closed and locked the door. And started to be walk off the my room. Karen was in her room already, sound asleep.

I looked like a fool with a stupid smile on my face.

I went to the bathroom and got ready for bed, I looked like a totally bum. My hair in a bun, no make up, and a big t-shirt.

I was in bed with my book, finishing the chapter when I got a text.
