Catching Up (Nate's Pov)

Nate's POV:

Finally. That's all I have to say. I missed this town so damn much. My friends, family, and definitely teasing my best friends little sister. I'm finally home and it feels so good. Two years is way too long. Man the school is going to be crazy when they find out I'm back. Bro I gotta call Brad!

Ring... Ring... Ring...

"Sup its Brad!"

"Brad, it's Nate."

"Nate! Dude I miss you, you need to come back to town." Little did he know.

"Bro I'm back... For good."

"Shut the hell up dude. No freakin way!"

"Cmon bro, come over"

"K see you soon."

God Brad is such an idiot, but that's why he's my best friend. After thinking about seeing all my friends again, I heard the door open.

"NATE!" Bradley screamed

"BRAD!" I screamed mimicking him. We ran towards each other and did a slow motion hug. I know we're weird, but you'll get used to it.

"How bout we never do that again?" I asked laughing.

"Deal." He replied also laughing.

"So... What did I miss?"

"Bro you missed so much. Ask and I'll answer." He said.

"Okay um how's Noah?"

"Good, he's still dating Hannah. They're really happy, it's actually kind of cute."

"Don't get all soft on me Brad. Anyways, how's Ryan?"

"Oh man he's still a player. He's probably been with 10 girls this month." You see the thing about Brad is that he's a good guy. And when I say good guy I mean really good guy. Brad is the complete opposite of me. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He cares about people's feeling, he has feelings. But I don't make fun of him for it because he's been there for me since we were in sixth grade. I on the other hand am a complete ass. I play with girls just like Luke and Ryan two of my other close friends here.

"Good for him! Is Luke the same too? What about Lucia?" I asked smirking.

"Not good Nate, playing with girls feelings is NOT good. And yes Luke is still the same. Lucia is um she's um. How do I say this nicely? Okay she's a complete bitch. Do not try a get with her Nate it's not a good idea. She completely changed." Brad said disgusted.

"Okay okay, I got it stay away from Lucia. What about your sister? She still lame?" I asked trying not to sound so interested in Eleanor.

"Eleanor? She's not lame, Nate. She has changed so much. She is actually quite popular now. Quite confident too. I would say she's pretty but that's weird because she's my sister." He said.

"Hahahahaha! Your sister? Eleanor? Popular? I'll believe it when I see it." I said laughing. That's just too funny. Yeah sure Bradley, your sister the nerd is popular. I thought with sarcasm laced in my thoughts. I'll just have to see tomorrow when school starts.
