"Rose, I....I'm not sure how to say this, but we can't talk anymore. I, um, have a girlfriend back in LA, and, um, she's the jealous type, you know. She doesn't want me talking to other girls, especially you. I tried to convince her to let me talk to you. That she had nothing to worry about. But she-." Rose cuts Ethan off before he can make the situation worse.
"Ethan. I thought you were the type of guy that didn't let anyone control him." Rose says, her bottom lip trembling.
"I thought you were the type of person who stood up for the people he cared about. Not letting others tell you who you can and can't talk to." As she mutters these words, the young woman starts pushing Ethan towards the door, tears rolling down her face.
"And most of all, I thought you cared enough about me that you wouldn't give a fuck about what others had to say." Rose finished with a snarl, pushing Ethan into her door.
"Rose, I-." Ethan starts.
"Don't. Even. Try." Rose bares her teeth. "Get out. And don't bother coming back." she says, opening the door.
With tears streaming down her beautiful face, Rose pushes the traitor through the doorway and slams the door in his handsome face. I thought we had something. But it turns out I'm just another fan. The heartbroken young woman walks over to her bed and collapses in a puddle of sadness.
