After the war (Draco x Reader) - (completed)

Heartbroken

I was enjoying my sleep when I heard someone yelling at me to wake up

"5 more minutes" I mumbled, turning in my bed and covering myself in my sheets.

"(Y/n) get up!!" Hermione yelled and chucked my robes on the bed "or your going to miss breakfast"

I jumped out of bed and quickly got into my robes, did my hair and applied some makeup.

"Let's go (y/n)" Hermione yelled from my bedroom and I rushed into my room, grabbed my books and bolted into the common room, the boys weren't there. Must be at the Great Hall.

When Hermione and I ran into the Great Hall, everyone was staring.

"Nothing to see here! everyone go back to eating!" I yelled with a smile then Mione and I went to our table.

"Nice entrance sleepy head" Harry smiled while biting his toast.

"Shut up" I mumbled and sat in my usual spot, Mione next to me.

I looked up and caught Draco laugh and shake his head. Normally I would laugh but I just looked back at my plate and continued talking to the trio, causing him to frown.

I shouldn't be so immature, he likes someone else, so what, I should still be a good friend to him.

"Oi ya' listen'n (y/n)?" Ron asked with food shoved in his mouth.

"Yeah, you haven't touched your food" Harry stated concerned.

"Hm. Yeah, yeah I'm fine, just tired" I fake smiled and started eating.

The food disappeared and the hall emptied signalling for first class. Potions, great.

The trio and I made our way to the classroom when someone came up behind us.

"Hey guys" Draco smiled.

"Hey Draco" the trio smiled and waved, I just gave a little half wave and small smile to which he frowned again.

"You alright (y/n)?" He asked just as concerned as Harry was.

"Fine" I said bluntly.

The group looked at me in shock, I just shrugged it off and went into the room.

Timeskip

Hermione's POV
*at lunch (y/n) is staying back to talk to a teacher btw*

"Hey do you know why she's ignoring me? I didn't do anything did I?" Draco asked concerned.

"Don't know mate" Ron sighed.

"Yeah no idea" Harry continued.

I just sat there rubbing my temple.

How can they be so stupid?

"Honestly, you boys are so oblivious. She likes you Draco" I said in a matter-o-fact tone. They all looked at me shocked, Draco mostly.

"Seriously? we were only teasing her but she actually does like him" Harry and Ron said through little chuckles. I nodded.

"She's ignoring you because you like someone else, it broke her heart" I sighed. Draco was about to speak up when (y/n) entered and sat at the table, across from Draco.

"You okay? What'd the Professor want?" I asked.

"Fine. Just some homework I didn't do" she replied blankly and started eating.

There was an awkward silence in the air so I decided to cough and speak up.

"Hey (y/n)" she looked up at me. "I need to talk to you later, Black Lake?" She just nodded and went back to eating.

I looked at the boys and I think they new what I was doing because they all nodded.

(Y/n) POV

I walked into the hall and sat with my friends, though they stopped talking when I approached them, weird.

I sat in my usual spot and started eating. I looked up to see Draco looking at me, he flashed a smile but I just looked down at my plate again, ignoring him.

"You okay? What'd the Professor want?" Mione asked concerned.

"Fine. Just some homework I didn't do" I lied, I was in the bathroom crying, I used a spell to cover up my red puffy eyes.

There was a string of awkward silence, broken by Mione.

"Hey (y/n)" I looked up at her. "I need to talk to you later, Black Lake?" I simply nodded and continued eating.

I wonder what Hermione wants to speak about, probably nothing.

Timeskip

(Y/n)'s POV

I was currently sitting at the Black Lake, waiting for Hermione while skimming rocks along the water.

It was quiet peaceful, though it didn't take my mind off the heartbreak.

I then noticed Mione walking towards me smiling.

We started talking, it did feel nice to laugh a little.

"So (y/n), whats wrong? And don't say 'nothing' because I know it's something. Is it Draco?" I looked at her, just the mention of his name makes me want to cry.

I think the brown haired girl noticed because she cuddled me and sighed.

"It's okay. Your alright" she sighed as I cried into her shoulder.

"I-I don't know w-what to d-do M-Mione, I l-love him but h-he doesn't fe-el the s-same" I cried into her shoulder harder.

I then heard a loud crunch from behind us, though I couldn't see anyone. Weird.

I went back to her as she gently grabbed my shoulders, pulling away and looking into my eyes.

"You'll be alright. I promise" she reassured and I smiled a little too.

Then I heard a crunch again, though this time there was someone standing there. A mop of platinum blonde stood next to a tree, a raven and red haired boy next to him. Draco. He heard everything.
