I finished up my training for the day and bought a bottle water. That pathetic little swine was just of no use to me at all. She was so slow in setting up the targets I swear. I walked out of there with my weapon in hand, my trusty old scythe that could slice through anyone and anything. I was admired by all thanks to this weapon, the weapon I was born to wield. My weapon vanished and I started playing with my ring, my secondary weapon that acts as another function. Unlike most warriors who have secondary weapons that must be called upon to appear, mine was forever visible. It's what makes me a rarity among all. I can call upon the most ferocious beasts from my imagination. They are born from even farther beneath the Earth as if they come from the depths of Hell itself. The longer they stay dormant underground, the more powerful they are. Not many people understand how it works, only me and the rest of the team. And that's enough.

I went into Illuminate Mode and started walking down the hallway. I noticed a voice calling out to me from behind and turned to see that it was none other than Heri. Strangely, her name is pronounced as Herrah. She claims that she's from this sector but we all know she comes from the more foreign areas. She just won't tell us about it and immediately changes the subject when we ask about her past. "There you are, Cora! We just got some news that you're gonna wanna hear."

"Ugh, what is it this time? Please don't tell me it's about another fight between lower-ranking warriors." That always happens after a Rank Rage. A couple of warriors will pick a fight with each other because they think the referee was unfair or one thinks they're stronger than the other. They're usually the ones in the bottom one hundred. "Well, I wasn't gonna say anything about that, but there were these two guys who were arguing about the Rank Rage results-"

"Can you just get on with what you were gonna say already?"

"Oh right, sorry! Um, Primrose is calling a Night meeting. Apparently, it's urgent." Night meetings usually take place at night. We love to disturb the peace. "You know, if it was so urgent, she could've just sent me an SOS message instead of sending you all the way down here." I just roll my eyes at Primrose's incompetence. Heri grabbed my arm in a playful way. "Yeah, but then you'd end up walking to HQ all alone. So I volunteered to come get you myself!" I shook my arm out of her grasp. "Have you forgotten that I enjoy my time alone? It helps me think."

"Well, if it makes you feel any better, the meeting has something to do with the Brigaders and TNT." I narrowed my coral colored eyes in her direction.

"What's up with them and TNT? Did Lori say anything in particular to you?"

"You're just gonna have to show up to find out." I groaned and sped up my pace towards HQ. "Why do you always have to be full of mystery?"

"Well, that's how I always destroy my victims don't I? With a little mystery?" My pace has slowed down a bit. "I noticed you sapped some of my energy. I told you to stop doing that."

"What? I needed a little snack. I thought you wouldn't mind since you have so much aura energy to go around."

This is why she's a part of the NightWalkers. She's fearless as well as merciless. Doesn't matter if you're her friend or not, she will use you to her advantage. "Heri, are you sure you don't know what this meeting is about specifically?"

"I know just as much as you do Cora." I still don't believe she's telling me the truth but I'm too tired to pry any information out of her right now. "You know, I've been meaning to talk about the strategy you had for TNT, are you sure you can get away with it? It did go south last year when you used your power on Nicole." She just sighed and rolled her eyes. "I've done it in training a few times so I don't see how it should be a problem now."
