Ana's POV

"Mommy." Slap. "Mommy." Slap. "Mommy." Slap.

I opened my eye's and groaned.

"Mom, mommy, wake up." Slap in the face again.

"I'm awake." I said looking at the person responsible for the slaps in my face.

"Mom, you said we'd see Daddy today, where is he?"

I looked at my son, standing there with his hands on his hips.

"Later Nick, it's too early for daddy yet." Too early, it wasn't even 7am yet.

"Mommy can I lay with you?" He asked me.

I smiled and threw back the covers, holding my arms out so he could join me.

"Of course you can baby." I told him, holding him close.

"When's my birthday?" He asked, sticking his fingers up my nose.

"Next week, and can you remember how old you'll be?"

"Five. Will I be five?"

"Yes you will, your getting so big." And that made me sad.

He smiled and closed his eyes, he was a mommies boy, so gentle and caring.

I kissed his forehead.

"Mommyyyyyyyyyy." A screech from downstairs.

Oh god. "Nick, is your sister downstairs?"

"Yeah, she makin breakfast."

Jesus Christ.

I threw back the covers getting down there as quick as I could. I entered the kitchen and groaned.

"Natasha, what are you doing?"

"Making pancakes mommy, for breakfast." She grinned at me.

And here was my devil child, she looked so innocent like her twin brother, but she wasn't, she was far from it.

Nick entered behind me and started giggling. "Tash, you gonna get in trouble again."

I looked at the flour all over my kitchen, shaking my head.

"Would you like us to help?" I asked Natasha.

"Yeah, please."

So the three of us made pancakes, then ate them.

"When's daddy coming?" Natasha asked as I was cleaning up.

I looked at her and her face made me sad. She was daddy's girl and she missed him more than anything.

"He said lunchtime." I told her.

She shreiked. "I have to go look beautiful." And she ran off upstairs.

I shook my head, watching her run off, she never ran out of energy.

"Mom, I have the mail." Nick said, entering the kitchen and waving letters around.

I took them and looked, one of them looked interesting so I opened it and groaned.

It was an invite, from my old high school, it seems they were having a ten year reunion, would I like to go? I had no idea.

I shoved it to one side, I'd think about that later.

"Where's Tash?" Nick asked me.

"Upstairs, making herself beautiful."

"You don't have to make yourself beautiful mommy, you just are." He smiled at me.

I pulled him into my arms, showering his face with kisses. Every woman needed a Nick in their life, he always made me feel good.

"Do you think daddy's excited to see us mom?" Nick asked.

"Well I certainly hope so."

He giggled.

"And what is funny?" I asked.

"Nothing." He giggled again, sliding off my lap and running upstairs.

I stood up, I was going to finish cleaning the kitchen then have a shower, but of course that changed.

"Oh Tash, you'll be in so much trouble." I heard Nick say.

"I will not." Tash screeched in reply.

Oh god, what had she done now?

I headed upstairs, trying to beat the screaming that I knew was coming.

"MOMMYYYYYYYYYYYY."

Too late.
