I Have to Protect Who?!

Chapter 12: I'm not a Guardian!

Izada POV:

What in the world???!!! This can't be right? I've never heard of being assigned two people. I've never went as a guardian. I kill the people assigned because I'm a prowler. They give me my first guardian mission and I have to protect two people?! These people are out of their minds!

"Ding Dong"

"Please put away all electronics for the remainder of the flight. Everyone needs to buckle up and stay seated. The plane is experiencing turbulance and will be untill we reach Billings. Thank you for your cooperation with us. Please enjoy the rest of your flight."

You have got to be kidding me! I finally loaded the whole file on my laptop and now I have to shut it off?

"Ma'am. When we said to put away all electronics, we ment for you to do it now."

"Cling"

I spent hours loading the files and now I can't read them untill I get 'home'!? I guess it won't kill me to wait. Wait! That flight attendant just touched my laptop! No one touches my laptop! I'll wait and get her later. Maybe a quick nap wouldn't hurt.

What? This cannot be happening again. I thought the dreams ended two years ago. I want to scream keep your nasty hands off of me, but my mouth still won't open. I really should be freaked out like I used to me, but I just don't have the energy to do anything still. Behind my eyes, I can tell I'm in a bright room and I can distinguish seven voices. They sound so familiar, but completely different. It seems like the voices have aged in the past two years. I wish my eyes would let me take a peek at my dream instead of just using my ears to hear the mumurs.

"Everyone, we will began our descent soon. Please sit down and fasten your seatbelts. Thank you."

"Izada. Wake up. We're landing." a small voice said.

"Aaawww. Five more minutes Mrs. Parker." I whined.

"Hehe. I'm not Mrs. Parker. It's me. Rose."

I'm on a plane! Oops. Man. I must have been really tired.

"Oh!"

"You know wakeing up my brother is easier than trying to get you up! He's a deep sleeper too!"

"How long have you been awake?"

"I woke up about an hour ago to go to the restroom."

"They let you out of the seats? What about turbulance?"

"The seatbelt light was off and the plane isn't shaking that bad anymore."

"Oh."

I sound like a broken record.

We're landing! I've riden in planes so many times you'd think I'd be tired of them by now. I still love the excitement of lifting up and decending in an airplane. Your stomach flips and it just feels so cool.

How do you miss the runway? That was the longest decent ever.

"Izada. Could you wait with me untill I find my brother?"

"Of course Rose. What does he look like?"

"He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is a little taller than you."

"He doesn't look like you? Are you telling me about your brother?"

"We're not brother and sister by blood."

"Oh. Okay."

"There he is! Dagan! I'm over here!"
