Ghost Realm

Chapter 1

You wake up by the sound of barking and growling, you open your eyes to see your mother, growling at a fox entering the den, and stealing our prey.
Your sibilings were nowhere to be seen. Then, the fox pounced. It landed on your mother, causing her to yelp and scream, blood streamed like a river down your mothers back, including the horrifying barks and growls.
"Y/N! Hide!!" Your mother shouted as she shook the small fox off her pelt, you backed away slowly and felt something crowd over you. You looked up and saw a huge orange furious fox, you ran as fast as you could to get away from the scary fox but, it was too fast.
The fox caught up to you and grabbed you by the tail and said," You will be a nice meal.." You closed your eyes and heard a little bark, it was your sister, petal, barking at the enormous fox," get away from them!!" She shouted, the fox dropped you making you hit the ground very hard, and grabbed Petal by her neck, she screeched and blood streamed down her small neck.
Petal shouted small little barks until finally, she stopped breathing, she had died.
The foxes had picked up your sister's lifeless body and faded away into the darkness, your mother, injured laid on the floor and cried.
She looked up at you and snarled, she carefully got up and limped to you, with her claws out.
"You could've saved her Y/N! You could've!!!!"
She lifted her paw and swung.
You closed your eyes but, you felt no pain.
You then opened your eyes and saw your little brother, Scarf went in front of you and our mother and got hit.
Blood oozed out from his neck, he tried to hold back his tears as much as he could, he looked at you and smiled.
Your mother confused and guilty that she instead hit her youngest son, she looked down and the half crying Scarf and said," Why did you do that?! Y-You stupid mutt!! You could've let them get hit!!" Scarf cried a little bit, then said," Because, they are my family, I cannot lose another family member." He limped over to you and licked your cheek and you thanked him.
