It was about a week since the Apocalypse. Surprisingly Aleks and Eddie were still alive. The only thing left that they had was a rifle with one bullet and a knife. Both of there clothing was covered with blood, some rips here and there.
There was so little time, they've been walking looking for shelter and so far nothing. "I'm hungry" Aleks wined as his stomach growled. "I know baby, there must be a store around here" Eddie took a hold of his Russians boyfriends soft hand. "Are you sure? You've been saying that since the past two days" He asked, his stomach actually hurting for starving so long.
"I'm sure honey"
They walked a good 30 minutes. They found a gas station. "What did I tell you?" Eddie said as he took a hold of his rifle with a single bullet meanwhile Aleks gripped onto his knife.
Both males walked into the gas station. Checking every isle carefully. Aleks walked into the chip isle and grabbed a bag of Lays. He heard moans come from behind him. Turning around he saw a zombie going up to him. "EDDIE!" He screamed as he back away. "Aleks!" He heard and went to the isle Aleks was in.
Eddie aimed at the zombies head and shoot. The zombie went to the ground. Aleks went up to the zombie and stepped on his head. "Double tap" he said as he removed his foot from the mushed brain.
"I think that was the only one here" Eddie said as he dropped the rifle. "As was the bullet" Aleks said picking up the rifle. "Maybe there's bullets in here" he said as he gave the rifle to Eddie. "Look for it, I'll put some food in the backpack" Aleks said as he grabbed his blue backpack on his back.
Eddie nodded and went to the counter and started going through everything as Aleks started shoving food and drinks in the backpack.
"Hey! I found a radio!" Eddie yelled out happily. Aleks finished filling up the backpack. He heard the radio on, a song playing out of it. "No bullets though!"
Aleks sighed placing the backpack over his shoulder. Walking over to his Latino boyfriend he smiled sweetly at him. "Why are you so happy?" He asked Eddie.
"Our song"
Aleks heard the soft song and smiled "no bullets huh?" Aleks said as Eddie dropped the useless rifle to the ground. He shook his head sadly. "The only thing we have is the knife" Aleks said placing the knife next to the radio.
Eddie walked up to Aleks and kissed his lips. "Will you like to dance with me?" He said, Aleks didn't have to respond as Eddie pulled him by the waist and started to slowly dance.
When a new moon shines through your window, or you hear a sad song on the radio. And you don't know why but you just start to cry.
