Mum!
I barged into the house when mum was in the parlour downstairs

"Na'am how was school today "Mum said

"Mum who is Amal?"I asked

"A-Amal who is she?"Mum asked also asking,I could tell that she knew Who Amal was because of her reaction when I said Amal.

"Who is Amal"I repeated showing her a picture of her(Amal)

"That's you"Mum said referring to the picture

"Have you ever seen me with this dress mum and the phone this girl is holding in the picture is an iPhone but I use Samsung and Huawei " I replied

"Sit down"Mum said

"I want answers to my Questions "I said looking serious

"I think its time to tell you the truth"Mum said

I sat down on the chair completely ready to hear what mum was going to say

"When I was pregnant with you,You were not the only person I was pregnant with I was also pregnant with your twin sister Amal, Before then you father was not really rich as he is now, he Coudnt afford for the surgery to go through so I gave birth at home that was the first house me and your father lived in which was in Kwara state. I had this friend who was a barren and Coudnt give birth we Coudnt take care of both you and Amal cause we were Afraid one of you could not survive I took Amal to my friend's house and my friend promise to take good care of her"Mum said

"So...For the past 17 years you never cared to tell me I had a twin sister and when I dream of her and tell you you say is all a dream "I replied

"I tried! Back when you were 11 you always ask me "Mummy where is my sister?where is the girl that looks like me?" And i always replied to  you that your only sister was fadeelah your elder sister, I tried getting Amal back but my friend got used to her and instead she moved from Kwara to somewhere else I searched for Amal but I Coudnt find her so me and your father promised to never bring up the topic of Amal Until today which I heard to tell you"Mum said

"What of Ya Fadeelah and Ya Nuhu don't they know about Amal?"I asked

"Ya Fadeelah knows about Amal but we talked about it not to ever talk about Amal,Ya Nuhu does not know because he was still a child when you were born"Mum said

"How did you find this picture Amina??"Mum asked

"It was this new guy in school today, I think he knows Amal so when he saw me he thought i was Amal and showed me some pictures of her and him talking pictures together when I told him i was not Amal But Amina"I replied to mum's question

"Do you know where she lives now??"Mum asked looking more serious

"Not really but the new guy Ahmad said something about Amal studying in A.B.U.Zaria"I replied

"Okay,Good don't tell anyone about this,this is only between me and you"Mum said

"Okay,Umma but when are we going to search for her and bring her back home"I said looking anxious

"Tommorow after school Can you invite your friend Ahmad to come over pls"Mum said

"Okay"I replied
