Chapter 3: Depressed, Angry, and Upset

              Dream's POV

We made it to my house. A bit before then, we changed back into skeletons. I just walked into the house. I walked up into my room and sat there with a sad look on my face. I got a couple of calls from Ink and Sci, but I didn't answer... Lust and Lilliana texted me asking if I was okay while Cross, Geno, and Blue texted me asked where I was and when I'd come back. I never replied to any of them... about thirty minutes later,  I heard my phone ring again. I answered it... that was a mistake...

                 Ink's POV

I called Dream again. It had been about a day since he left. He finally answered... but when he spoke... he didn't sound the same... he sounded depressed... "Yes?" He asked "... I um...... I wanted to know if you were okay... you seemed like you were in pain before you left..." I said concernedly "I'm Fine." He said flatly. "... Okay... See you at school tomorrow?" I asked "Yeah, sure... whatever..." He murmured. He hung up the phone... I hope he's okay...

            (The next day...)

Nightmare's POV

"DREAM!! WAKE UP!! IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL!!" I yelled, knocking on his room door. "No!!" Dream said. I sighed. "... I didn't want to do this, Dream..." I muttered. "Wha—" He started. I kicked the door down before he could finish. "LET'S GO!!! GET UP!!!"  I screeched  "Noooooo......" He said tiredly "GET THE FUCK UP!!! WE HAVE TEN MINUTES TO GET READY, EAT BREAKFAST, AND GET OUR TAILS TO SCHOOL!!! THE OTHERS ARE ALREADY DOWNSTAIRS!!! HURRY THE HELL UP!!!" I screeched, pulling the covers off of him and dragging him out of his bed. "WAKE UP!!" I yelled "... FINE!!" He growled. He pushed me out of the room and fixed the door. About five minutes later, he walked down the stairs and we all went to school.

             (At Lunch...)

Dream's POV

"So, Where's Nightmare??"  I asked "We actually don't know..." Killer said "... Excuse me?" I asked again "W-We Don't know where he went... He said he was going to meet us here... but then while he was on the phone with Killer and I, we heard crying and whining. After that, he said he had to investigate something and the line went dead. We d-don't know what happened..." Dust said "......... Oh god... what if he shifted...... what if he hurt someone...... what if he killed somebody" I muttered "Let's just go and find him!" Shady exclaimed. Horror nodded in agreement. "Okay..." I said.

Nightmare's POV

I was on the phone with Killer and Dust when I heard crying. Only... it wasn't normal crying... it was whining, like a wolf or a dog would do. I followed the sound to find a wolf who had gotten hurt. There was a large gash in his leg... it looked like a stab wound... "Oh lord... Hey, You okay buddy?" I asked sympathetically. He looked at me and whined even more. I wasn't sure if he was a normal wolf or a werewolf like the others and I. "Okay, um... I'm gonna get you to my friends, okay?" I said. He didn't move, he just looked at me and lied down. "Okay. Let's go." I said, gently picking him up and walking back to the school. When He saw we were going somewhere with a lot of people, he started panicking. "Shhh... I'm gonna help you, Okay? Don't panic. It'll be fine." I said soothingly. I walked all the way back to where Dream was supposed to meet the rest of us. When I got there, they a were panicking and didn't notice me. "Uhhhh, Hey??? I am LITERALLY right here!!!" I started "And, I found something." I continued "... Is he okay?" Killer asked "I don't know. I just found him. He's injured so we gotta help him." I murmured. Dream nodded. "Put him down, I'll heal him." He said "Okay." I said. I gently put the wolf down and he just lied there fearfully. "Shhh...... It's gonna be okay..." Dream said. bout ten minutes later, the wolf was almost fully healed. Dream couldn't completely heal him though because he passed out from exhaustion. The wolf was well enough to sit up. He looked at us and then at the school. He slowly got up and limped away. "Hmmm... Okay... Welp, looks like lunch is over. We gotta get to class." Killer said. I nodded. We all got up and walked to class.

(Two Hours Later)

"FINALLY!! WE'RE FREE!!!" I yelled. "Okay, Welp, time to go home." Fell said. We walked home. Once we got in the house, we ate dinner and went to sleep.

I am not too proud of this chapter.... it didn't turn out all that well but okie!

Also, can y'all guess who that wolf was??

I'll give you a hint: They will be shipped with Sci.

There will also be another 'new' character who was honestly supposed to be in the book by now but like fuck it—
