They say that losing someone you love in spring hurts a little less than in any other season. The lush green trees make the surroundings vibrant and full of life and the blooming flowers symbolize hope and new beginnings.
They say that you'll get over the pain a bit faster by the help of the spring breeze accompanied by the faint fragrance of newborn blooms, calming the grieving hearts as it makes its way down to one's system.
That is what they say.
But Dahyun thinks otherwise.
Every beat she feels inside her ribcage ripples an indescribable pain, not physically, but she can feel it thriving in her soul.
It's not easy to forget. May it be summer, fall, winter, or spring. It will never be. Especially when you have the deceased's heart pumping inside of you to keep you living.
"She's in a better place now, right?" Dahyun asks, almost inaudible, as she blankly stares at the tombstone in front of them.

June 14, 1994 - May 24, 2019"She is." Jimin wipes the lone tear that managed to escape his girlfriend's eye. He then wrapped an arm around her as he plants a kiss on her temple.
It's been a month since the accident happened. Taking away a significant existence from Dahyun's life but bestowing an extension to her own.
"Do you wanna go home now?" Jimin cautiously eyed Dahyun who's currently lost staring at the large clearing with rows of erected stones outside their car.
"Can we stop by the café? We haven't visited Kook since the burial." Dahyun looks his way with a weak smile.
"Sure, Hyunnie." Jimin wrapped his hand around the other's, sending a gentle squeeze, before maneuvering the car out of the cemetery.

The chimes rung softly as the couple enter the half filled café. Dahyun immediately went to the farthest corner while Jimin makes his way to the staff's room after failing to find Jungkook behind the counter.
The guy is busy filling a container with coffee beans that he didn't even notice Jimin's presence inside the room.
"Kook." Jimin uttered making the younger halt from what he is doing and stares back at his hyung with wide eyes.
"Hyung." He said, the bag of coffee beans still hanging from his hand.
"Dahyun is waiting outside." Jimin smiled and wrap an arm around him.
"You know better than keeping my girl wait for a long time. You know how grumpy she can get." Jimin chuckles as they walk towards the subject's direction.
"Kook. It's been a while." Dahyun gave him a long tight hug which he readily reciprocated.
"Hey. Boyfriend is getting jealous." Jimin intervenes and jokingly tugs Dahyun's forearm.
"Don't be an asshole. We haven't seen each other for a month while you two cuddles each other every night." Jungkook retaliated but still releases Dahyun from the hug.
"You know how possessive he is." Dahyun whispered to Jungkook before sitting next to Jimin.
"You know that I heard you, right?" Jimin asks with an amused smile.
