Chapter 3: Surprize(:

The rest of the day he was all I could about. Why would he choose me over all those other girls? They are all prettier then me!!!! They don't have the best personalities but I don't think I deserve him. Maybe he was high. That has to be it.

"Houstyn!!! Stop zoning out on me!!! I know it's a big deal that Niall asked you out, and I am freaking out on the inside, but we need to get our work done!!!!" Kristen yelled. I just looked at her and laughed. She shot me a confused look.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry. It's just a good day you know? I mean, he has all those other girls crawl all over him but he chose me!!! Me of all people!! All those other girls are way better looking then me. I just think he was dared to ask me or something like that. Don't you?" I ask. Kristen sighed.

"Houstyn, I think he chose right. You are drop dead gorgeous, much more attractive then these girls. You are smart, funny, sarcastic, sweet, kind... Everything he said that he looked for in a girl before you moved here." she smiled.

"How would you know what he looks for? He never told anybody what he likes or who he likes before from what I've heard. I could be wrong though." I questioned. She looked at me like she was csught with murder. "What? Why are you looking at me like that? What aren't you telling me?"

"Ugh. Alright, alright. You caught me. How do I put this... Niall is my... Step-brother... I didn't tell anybody cause everyone would ask me about him. He moved out here because his dad married my mum..." she mumbled. I just looked at her with relief.

"Man!!! I thought you were going to say something else!! Don't ask me what... But that's neat!!" I said. She shot me another confused look.

"Why aren't you freaking out that I'm related to him?" she asked. I looked at her and laughed.

"Because him and I are already technically dating, nothing could be more surprizing then that. Sorry, but you did not win todays game of 'Impress Houstyn' love" I laughed. She looked at me and laughed too. I'm glad her and I are friends. Not because of Niall, but because I could relate to her. I could already tell we were going to be best friends.
