Chapter 5: The Fight....

When we finally got to school I was relieved. We made it just before the bell rang. Niall and I walked into class holding hands and everyone looked at us and smiled. Except for Santana. I don't get why she was so mad. He was never hers in the first place. But, what she thought didn't matter. I had Niall and that's all I cared about. That and the fact that my dad aproved of him. Right now, my life was perfect. We walked over to the two empty seats, which were right next to eachother and Kristen was on the other side of me. I got my best friend and my boyfriend next to me, perfect so far.

"Ew. Doesn't everybody think that they are the ugliest couple ever? Houstyn, you belong with the little nerds. Not MY man. Just go away and Niall, come here and sit by me." Santana yelled. Niall gave her a dirty look as she got up to get him.

"Don't ever talk about my girl like that again. SHE is my girlfriend. Not you. I am not your man. I am not your property. So, back off. There are other fishes in the sea." Niall challenged. She gave me a dirty look, walked towards Niall some more, and slapped him. I could not believe she just did that. I was in shock. There was a huge red mark on his face. I could tell it hurt. I ran over to comfort him.

"Houstyn!!! Do I need to spell it out? Back off. He is my man and always will be." Santana screamed. I looked over to Mrs.Rem to find her hiding behind her desk. Was I the only one dumb enough to mess with her?

"Santana. Back off. He obviously does not like you. He's with me. Just accept that and go away. Don't start any more drama then you already have." I say calmly. I was surprized at how calm I sounded. I kissed Niall on the cheek where he was slapped and he smiled. I got up to finnish her off. I was done with her treating me like dirt. I wqas here to stay.

"Know what? Niall is mine. He was always mine. He just didn't know it. Now, go back to the little dumpster country you came from and never come back. You may have been the popular girl who ran the school there, but not here. You will not get the guy. You will never get the guy." She spat at me. At this point I couldn't take it anymore. She did not deserve him.

"Have you even been to America? No. So stop saying stupid things about it. And I will get the guy. That's why I have him now. I really like him. More then anyone else in the world. He is my perfect guy. And you don't deserve him." I say harshly. I was turning into THAT girl. Niall got up and hugged me. I just noticed the tears streaming down my face. Santana was smiling.

"Houstyn, let's go. I don't want to listen to her anymore. We'll just ditch the rest of the day." Niall assured me. Tears were coming out of his eyes too. I nodded and started walking towards the door but Niall wasn't walking with me. I turned back to see him pulling Kristen away from Santana. I ran over and tried to help. Kristen looks like a sweet innocent girl but she can really do some damage.

"Kristen!!! Get off of her!!" I yelled. SHe looked up at me and got up.

"What were you thinking?!?!?!" Niall yelled. She just looked down and sat back in her seat. I mouthed 'thank you' to her and she smiled. Niall grabbed my hands once again, kissed my head, and we walked out.

Once we got outside Niall stopped and looked at me.

"Are you okay? How's your face? Do you need ice?" I questioned and he just shook his head.

"I'm fine. I'm just worried about you. I should have done more. I'm the worste boyfriend ever. I'm so sorry, Houstyn. Please forgive me!!" he cried. I just laughed.

"Don't say that. You are teh best boyfriend ever.I just got that point across in the room!! And you shouldn't have done more. I'm glad you didn't. I didn't want you to get in trouble. I could never be mad at you. Ever. Don't lose sleep over this. It's fine. Why don't we go see a movie now and do something else for our dat tomorrow!!" I said. He nodded and we started to walk. I looked up at him and kissed his cheek.
