Chapter 6 (Finale)

We had got back and I heard mum crying. "Wait here." I told Dan . I walked into the kitchen and saw mum sitting at the table crying. "Mum?" She sniffled, "Phil love, I dont want Dan here anymore. We are wasting money on him and what is he going to do here. I havent adopted him! I rang social services and he is going to be in a foster home. Dont worry Phil, hes just a stranger off the street." I had my mouth open wide.

I heard Dan walking outside. "Dan, wait!" I rushed after him. "Phil, there's no use, I'm going into care." He shouted. I cried. "No Dan, you are not going. I want you to stay... Forever." He looked at me. This felt like the perfect moment to kiss. But he turned and carried on walking. "Dan?!" I caught up with him and he turned back round. "Phil! Get it in your head. I'm going away. I'll never see you again. I'll soon be adopted. I know you dont want to leave me. But I have to go." I had tears spilling all over my face. I hate, hate, hated my mum! She was so mean!

He looked at me and then we kissed. I felt better and thought of an idea. "Dan! Perhaps i can come with u, into the foster home?" "No Phil, dont, I dont want you to be sad in there. There's no way of you coming with me. Also they wont let you in. As your mum said, its just one more person to feed and care for." He started sobbing. We hugged and i whispered into his ear. "Dan, maybe we can run away together. Just you and me." He looked at me. I smiled. I grabbed his hand and ran. Ran as fast as i could. I didnt know where we would go but we could adventure together. I didnt want Dan to leave. He was my best friend, my boyfriend.
