Chapter 6: 48 hours of Hell: The Warrior God and The Shinigami

Ha, the joke's on Stein, I did manage to pull it off! Every other time I try to use this technique it results in me spewing blood everywhere or I don't put enough of my wavelength in either hand. This time I succeeded though! Damn, Lord Death is gonna be so proud!

Meanwhile in the Death Room

"Wow, Sarige I am so proud! By merely watching Stein he was able to mimic the two-handed soul menace technique. That is absolutely remarkable in every sense of the word!"

"That actually is very impressive he copied my technique by eye alone and he managed to land it on Kid albeit he was holding back. Nonetheless, it is still an impressive feat. Also, will you be watching them throughout their entire challenge?"

"Yes, I plan on monitoring every move they make and everything that happens. Nothing gets past me!"

"Interesting, so I'm guessing you've seen Adrian and Samuke's little altercation correct? Samuke showed some amazing skills in that fight and he made up a technique of his own he called it "Soul Wavelength Transmutation.".He did what natural Resonance's do but without having to do resonance. It was on a weaker scale but still a deadly technique, he encased the blade of his scythe in his wavelength and cut Adrian leaving his already disrupted wavelength even more disrupted which actually hurt him."

"What I'm focused on is Adrian. He seems to be slowly regaining his memories again. I wonder if it has to do with his interactions with Samuke or is it just the natural recovery?"

"Should we wipe his memory again or should we let him grow along with the team?"

"Let him grow I want to see if this will still have him on the path of vengeance and loneliness or fill the hole that's been there for a year."

Back at the forest

"Wow, Sarige you managed to stun Kid. Where did you learn that technique."

"Don't worry about it Clarence it's a secret.Anyway, that won't keep him down that only bought us some time to either leave or help the others. Angel, what are your thoughts on what we should do?"

"Well, should wait to bargain with Kid or to at least subdue him further to buy time."

"Ok, hate to bud in on oy guys' convo about our next plan of action but I just want to add my input as well since Sarige and I basically think the same. So, I think that your plan is insane and dumb. The logical thing to do would be to get the equipment first. If we go back for the others Kid will go looking for us then our whole squad will have to deal with both the "Warrior God" and "Shinigami" 2 people who are compatible enough to take out our entire squad. Also, to make things worse for us Clarence and I have only eaten a combined total of 52 souls."

"But, if we leave then that would leave us likely to be welcomed by a Kid and a BlackStar. The name was Yane, right? Well, I appreciate the input but it seems all of our options will end up being failures regardless. We have to take that risk and be able to leap at any chance we get. We don't have too much higher ground to begin with."

" I have an idea. I might not like it but I haven't liked a lot of things today this isn't as bad as half of the shit I've been through with you guys and this is only the first day."

The nerdy goth chick has come up with an idea? Aww man, that means we've really dug ourselves in a huge hole. But, we don't have any other choices so why not?

"So, when Kid wakes up we'll stay here but two of us will stay back as bait while the others will be waiting for our second chance. I will volunteer as the first decoy since he thinks I'm the weakest link..."
