Son of Fourth

the chains of tradition.

Naruto jumped of the tree,  then rushed towards it again, it was easy to climb up it. He easily controlled his chakra and walked up the tree. Beneath him Hinata cheered.

She too was very good at chakra control. But she did not try to train in the ninjutsu, she was reluctant.

Naruto jumped off the tree her again and landed nimbly in front of her. He looked at her, "How was that?" He asked. Nose to nose, Naruto looked at her eyes.

"Stop flirting." Shikamaru and Sasuke groaned  from the sides.  Sasuke stood up. He looked at the tree and scaled it up to down. "Fifty meters?" He asked as he walked up to it and calmly walked up to the top. He  did a back flip and landed too.

"Show off." Shikamaru said lazily. "I could walk up the tree but my Mon is not here,  so no one will beat me if I don't do it. So I won't. " He looked up to the clouds. Sasuke and Naruto were diaper buddies. A friendship formed so deeply that Naruto had told him about his birth, about the mangekyou and about his beast. Hinata, Sasuke and Shikamaru were the four friends Naruto cherished over most because they knew that Naruto was more then just Minato's son. Sasuke called him knucklehead, it was an insult but  Naruto liked it.

Shikamaru was too lazy to use the long syllabus of "son of the fourth.” so he called him Naru. It was affectionate and Naruto admired that.
With Hinata and him, well they had a thing going on. It was not announced or anything but it was there.

"Hinata chan, I can totally help you with elemental ninjutsu, why don't you want it?" Naruto ashed and linked their arms and walked out of the training grounds.  Sasuke was to his side and Shikamaru, well he was still in the training ground, sleeping.

Sasuke nodded, "I also started learning fire and lightning techniques." He said. "We will be going to academy soon and we want to be the best one don't we?" He asked Naruto.

Naruto grinned. "Yup."

The children were currently at eight years old and Sasuke and Naruto were better then any other kid in the village. Needless to say, Naruto was better because he had massive chakra reserves and four chakra releases. Unfortunately he had no kekkai genkai that had shown itself yet but Naruto had faith in himself.

Also Naruto could use his mangekyou to some extend. He could not use any techniques but he could see better then three tomes sharringan.

Sasuke has told him about different techniques he could be able to use. But Naruto had not got time to train on those. Naruto had been very talented in sealing arts though. He was nearly at the level of his father as he was personally tutored by Minato and occasionally Jiraiya.

Currently, at age of eight, Naruto had chakra reserves they was more then anyone but his mother. If the fox was not counted of course. He could use all four chakra releases to a chunin level mastery. He was very good at hand to hand combat and using Sharringan. He had mastered the genjutsu to hide Sharringan. He was a sealing master. He had good chakra control.
