You had been out of it the entire day, Min Soo could tell. It wasn't hard to tell either when you had burned yourself not once, but twice, spilling coffee onto your hand instead of the cup.

She had tried to snap you out of it, to no real avail and now she just watched as the reporters tried hard to get something out of you, and you'd just smile at them in your customer service state.

"Unnie, it's time for your break" she called out softly as you blinked a bit, shaking your head before turning to look at her and nodding.

You moved to take your apron off and handed it to her and she watched helplessly as you moved to the window seat and looked out, not putting in any headphones, or taking out a book, or eating, just looking out the window and she was frustrated.

She wanted to help you, but didn't know how. So all she could do for now was draw your break out as much as she could until you realized.

It was nearing 3 pm when a petite girl came in. Min Soo had treated her like any other customer and had fully expected her to prance out the store once she got her order.

Instead, the girl had all but skipped to your table and slid in the chair. It made the hairs on Min Soo's neck raise and her lips go into a frown.

It wasn't until she saw how you melted at the girls advanced eventually that she calmed down and even watched with interest as time passed and the more it did, the more you seemed to be... well... you.

Min Soo observed the girl. She had short, brown hair that curled at her shoulders and bangs that framed her face perfectly. Her lips were pouty and she had a small button nose.

She wasn't all that special, yet she had you breaking and for that Min Soo was thankful for.

When the store was nearing to closing time, you had gotten up and apologized to Min Soo for not getting off your break. She had shushed you, and encouraged you to go with the girl when she invited you out to drink.

You had been reluctant, but with one look at Min Soo who told you that she'd close, you had eventually agreed and Min Soo watched, hopeful as you walked and talked with the girl, looking a bit better than before.

Hopefully this one wouldn't end bad.

Her name was Jimin, and she was the loveliest girl you've ever met.

You thought you knew kind when you met Lisa and Ji eun, but no, jimin had you smiling despite your sad state and somehow had gotten you to relay a lot of your life as well as get you to listen to Hers.

Of course you didn't delve deep Into anything with your friends, but as drinks went by and jimin brought up the idol life and how'd nice it'd be to become one, you couldn't help and let your drunken mind rant a bit.

"I mean, it's just sad, you know?" You said a bit quietly, mumbling even as Jimin tilted her head a bit, looking at your drunken state with curious eyes.

"It's always so much pressure to fall in love. To know if you're feeling will be returned. To know how their story ends. It's always hard to fall in love, but being an idol just makes it harder" you said, letting your head rest on your arm as the other stretched to trace the rim of the glass.

"And why is that?" Jimin questioned, prompting you further.

"Because while we struggle to fall in love, they have to do it in front of cameras and thousands- no, millions of eyes. I mean, especially idols who have basically grown into this life" you said, a sad frown on your face.

"I mean, 20 is basically nothing in life, you still have so much left."

And jimin, well she couldn't help and slightly smile at that. You were in your twenties too.

"what do you mean?" She asked and you huffed a bit, sitting up and taking the last bit of your drink.

"Like, I mean, look at that Poor BTS guy for example. The youngest one was like, 15? 16? When he joined. He's grown into this big idol life and I think it kinda sucks when it comes to things like this. He can't properly fall in love, can't go out, can't do anything without eyes just on him. Doesn't it seem a bit sad? It makes me... so sad for him" you mumbled the last part, sighing and looking down at the table now, seemingly tired of ranting.

Jimin guessed it was kinda sad. I mean, she never really saw it that way, but she understood where you were coming from and where your cute drunken mind was.

Or more specifically on who your drunken mind was thinking of.

Now jimin, she was a sweetheart, she loved to listen and to be heard. She loved to take care of others, loved to help, but at the same time, to do the things she loved she needed the money.

So who could really blame her when she smiled softly at you and grabbed your hand, letting you continue your rambling and waited.

She'd wait as long as she needed, and for that she needed to be close to you.

And when you grabbed her hand back and leaned on her shoulder, well, she thought she was doing a pretty good job
