Secrets I Found in Undertale

Small facts related to Undyne

So I found all of these facts related to Undyne when I called her and Papyrus at certain places.

Undyne's piano puzzle in Waterfall:

When you call Papyrus and Undyne where the piano is at Waterfall, Undyne admits that she created that puzzle. I'm not sure if that means she put the music box in the statue or if she just heard the music box and make a piano puzzle based on its melody. Either way, she said she created the piano puzzle so that's kind of cool.

Side note she also said something about the artifact when I called her in that room but I can't quite remember😕

Rocks falling down waterfalls in (you guessed it) Waterfall:

So I'm pretty sure most people didn't think twice about the rocks falling down the Waterfall and you have to avoid them. I thought the same until I called Undyne in that area and she told me she actually THREW those rocks at the player. Now it makes more sense to me why she suplexed a boulder when you fight her just because she can. Did I mention how great it is connecting the dots between events in Undertale? Even if it's small and insignificant things? Anyway moving on...

Undyne's first encounter with you:

So I think most people found it strange when Undyne didn't attack the player (aka Frisk) when we first get a glimpse of Undyne. Some people say that when Undyne heard Frisk in the tall grass and went to check it out she probably thought Frisk had gotten away so she gave up the search. I thought this was the case as well until Undyne told me something interesting when I called her at this location.

Undyne told me that she didn't attack the player because Alphys told her that the tall grass there is an endangered plant species and she didn't want to harm it. I thought there was something off about what she said, it turns out Alphys lied to Undyne about the plant species being endangered for some reason (I think it's because Alphys wanted to use it in some sort of lotion or something?). At Alphys's and Undyne's date if you pay close attention to when Alphys confesses everything to Undyne, she will mention lying about the plant species being endangered.

Undyne's speech:

When you encounter Undyne after the echo flower says "behind you" she talks about the six human souls and how the underground only needs one more. According to Undyne, she practised that whole speech in front of a mirror to prepare for her next encounter with the player. This makes sense since she doesn't attack you straight away and she probably spoke to the echo flower to say "behind you" for dramatic effect.

Undyne and Alphys:

If you call Undyne in specific rooms (which of course I don't remember which rooms) she mentions Alphys a few times and even gives hints as to her liking Alphys. Which would've been a great build up to their kiss at the end of the pacifist run if I'd learned this during my first playthrough. Also, the only thing I remember Undyne telling me on the phone that's related to Alphys is that she yelled at me for being in Alphys's room...probably not a good idea to call Undyne when you're in Alphys's room...

Undyne's knowledge about Flowey:

When you played the true pacifist most people would've noticed that Sans, Alphys and Papyrus know about Flowey to some extent. Flowey also talks about how he encountered Asgore and Toriel in his previous timelines. So Undyne seems to be one of the only main characters that had not been mentioned to have had any connection with Flowey at all.

Undyne actually does know about Flowey to some extent. If you call her at the flower patch in the garbage dump she says something very interesting. Undyne says that she noticed that the FLOWERS seem to have a mind of their own. It seems to be suggesting that she's noticed Flowey before but only as any other flower.

But Undyne mentioned that she noticed more than one flower acting strangely, this might sound crazy but I think this might suggest that Flowey has some sort of ability that controls the other buttercups in a way.

I also remember that one time at Mettatons hotel Papyrus was telling Undyne about his friendship with Flowey. Undyne (of course) dismissed this as Flowey being Papyrus's imaginary friend but I think I remember her being a little unsure.
