Familiar Faces

"She's going to be fine. She has a fractured wrist, a slight concussion, and some cuts and bruises, but she will be fine." Emma heard Doctor Whale tell someone. She couldn't see who it was because her eyes were closed. She struggled to open them but had no luck. Her body wanted sleep but her mind wouldn't rest.

She felt someone grab her hand and squeeze. That was all she needed to force her eyes open. She saw her mother sitting on a chair beside her hospital bed with a worried look.

"Oh Emma! Your awake! Don't ever scare us like that again!" She cried.

Emma smiled faintly and said, "I'll try not to."

David was also in the room and come up and kissed Emma and the head.

"Welcome back."

"Thanks, how long was I out?"

"Half an hour but that enough to worry your mother."

Emma was about to ask what happened but was interrupted by shouting in the hall. She heard a nurse say, "I'm sorry sir but you can't go in there. Family only."

"That's ridiculous!" She recognized the voice. Killian.

"What the hell is that pirate doing here? I'll go send him away." David said.

"No! Let him in." They gave her a doubtful look. "Oh come on. He just wants to make sure I'm okay."

Reluctantly David opened the door and flagged Killian in. He gave the nurse that wouldn't let him in a smug smile and walked in. His eyes found hers and she could see the relief in them.

"Swan," He breathed.

"Okay Hook you see that she's fine now leave."

Killian did no such thing. Instead he looked at David and said, "Mate do you remember a Prince Charles in your past?"

David thought about it then realization dawned on his face.

"Don't tell me that was you."

Killian grinned and said, "Guilty."

"Whatever. Just go back to your ship and do whatever is it that you do."

The smile faded off Killian's face and he said, "Very well. Goodbye Swan."

The look in his face was enough for Emma to say, "Killian wait! Mom, dad, can you give us a minute?"

Hey guys this is only half of the chapter because it's been so long since I've updated I'll just post the rest later. Now that the shows back on I'm not sure what I'm doing with this story yet.
