A Voice

A Voice

There's a voice

A whisper of sound deep from your conscience

It's smaller than the wind's

Fainter and blurrier than the mist

Buried deep inside your heart

your core

Stop and listen

Pause and think

Reckless don't be

Rashness begone

The voice is speaking

The voice is warning

The voice is reminding

The voice is scolding

The voice is shrieking

It's shouting

"DON'T."

It's screaming at You

Yes at You

You, who heard it

and You, who ignores it

And now you know

Why you should have listened to it in the first place

And now you regret it

For ignoring it the first time

and the second,

and the third,

and the fourth,

...

But it's to late

For you've never listen

to the voice of your heart

...

And so for those voices whose still screaming,

still shouting,

still warning,

and still scolding

Don't ignore it but,

Be Grateful

For it's not to late to listen,

and keep listening

(Bad joke)

Ahem,

So yeah here is my first poem on Wattpad. What do you think? Please put your thoughts in the comment section. And brainstorm, polite debate, and grammar checks are welcome. But please use appropriate words. Please note that I'm not a native English speaker and am still learning English. So please tell me if I make some grammar and/or pronunciation mistakes. I would love to improve my English.

I don't write often, but I would like to. And I'm not too good at making poems. But sometimes there are times in life that needs a good poem as a relieve, you know? So I hope this poem isn't too embarrassing. I know the chances of getting readers for new writters are hard, especially on poem. But for those who actually read this, thank you for stopping by and stay with me until this far.

And do you want to read this poem's meaning? If you do, you should checkout the next part...
