Cheryl POV
I'm Cheryl Blossom. I live in a small town called Riverdale. I will be telling you the story about the first week of school and how much my life has changed since then.
4 Weeks Earlier...
It was the first day back at school. I was popular and has lots of friends. All of them were good and nice, but I was only interested in one of them. My best friend, Toni Topaz. I haven't seen her all summer since her grandfather takes her away on vacation every summer. She has glasses, braces, and pretty much gives you all the nerdy vibes. She is always there for me when I need her, and I'm always there for her when she needs me. Toni got bullied a lot last year. I hope things change.

At School/Day 1
I walked into school with my good friend Veronica who I hung out with all summer. We split up to go get stuff from our lockers when I got a text from Toni... "Meet me in the student lounge". I was so exited I haven't seen her in forever. I anxiously walked to the student lounge to see a few boys in the south side serpents, and a pink haired girl standing by the vending machine. The girl turned around, and I quickly recognized her. "Toni?"
"T-Toni it's you!". I ran to her and hugged her tight. We both giggled out of joy. "How was your trip?" As she started to tell me about the trip, I soon wasn't even listening. I couldn't stop staring at her. She looks so... different. Glasses are gone, braces are gone. It's still Toni but- I don't know.
Toni POV
I've missed her so much. She hasn't changed at all. Same red lips, same taste in clothes. What I didn't remember though was the staring. I guess she's just trying to process the new look. I mean, I was beyond a nerd. I was chubby, and  ugly too. I'm glad to be back and better because maybe everyone won't make fun of me anymore. Expect for Cheryl of course... she never made fun of me. Truth is, I've always been in love with her but she is like a closed book. I couldn't never tell how she feels towards me... but I'm her best friend and that is all I will ever be in her eyes. After catching up, we walked in the hallway with the vixens. Veronica Lodge never liked me. I think she was jealous of how close Cheryl and I were. Bombshell never realized it though. "Toni Topaz... still eat when your sad?" Veronica said to me. My two best friends Sweet Pea and Fangs came behind me and I guess she felt intimidated so she scurried off. I turned around and the boys hugged me, picked me up, and scratched my head. It's what they always do. I'm in a gang now. The serpents.  In Toledo (where I was over the summer), I joined the serpents there. When I got back to riverdale, turns out the boys joined too. We were inseparable in a crazy way including Cheryl. We were like the four musketeers. It's been that way since we were kids and I plan on it being that way forever.
Cheryl POV
I don't know how to feel about her. When I saw her in that lounge butterflies flew through my stomach and that has never happened before with anyone. I saw her and the boys walking down the hallway as I ran to see them, but Betty stopped me. "Who's the girl with the pink hair and the leather jacket?" "It's Toni! She's changed so much. She's so... pretty and" "Cheryl omg you like her" "What? No I don't. I, uh, I'll talk to you later." I ran from Betty as I bumped into Toni. "Where are you going in such a rush... I was just looking for you. Do you want to go to pops after 8th period?" "Of course. But your paying Topaz." "We both know that's not true Cherry" I smiled, she smiled.
After School at Pop's
Toni POV
We got to Pop's and I started to show Cheryl some pictures from summer. "Jughead was there too?" Cheryl asked. "Yeah. Only for a week though. We went to this club one night and I got so wasted that I kissed him." "Y-You and jughead?" "Yeah. It was weird" I looked at her eyes and it looked like she was trying to hold back tears. "Cheryl whats wrong?"
"Nothing.. I think I'm gonna go home it's been a rough day" Cheryl got up and left. She was driving home when I got the idea.
Cheryl POV
I was in my car, tears rolling down my face. why did she kiss jughead and not me. Mother was in her room so I slipped past her without her seeing my face. I took off my makeup and laid in bed. All of a sudden, I heard a knock on my bedroom window.
Toni POV
I watched her, nervous to knock on her window but somehow seeing how sad she was and at that point, I knew it was because of me... I couldn't have her go through that. I tapped lightly on her window and she turned around. Wiping her tears, she walked towards the door not meeting my eyes. She unlocked the window and I crawled in. Still not looking at me, I took my hand and put it on her chin, lifting her head up. She looked into my eyes and we leaned towards each other. I kissed her and I never felt so good. Her hands were in my hair and my hand were on her face. She pulled out, and said "thank you Toni". As I was just about to kiss her again, her deviant mother walked into her room. "Cheryl what is that south side scum doing in here?"
Cheryl POV
"I was upset so Toni came back to the thistle house to make me feel better... she did" I saw Toni smile from the corner of my eye and my heart melted. Toni picked up a glass of water on my bed stand when I said this... "Mother since she's gone through so much trouble I don't want her going home on a motorcycle in the dark. Is it okay if she stays over?" Toni choked on her water as I hear her coughing. My mother gave me a dirty look, and walked out of my room. "That's a yes."
When Toni got her coughing under control, we both started laughing for 2 minutes straight. When we were done laughing she moved closer to me. Smiling, she said to me... "so I'm staying the night huh." I smiled and lunged my body towards her as before we were kissing and it was sweet and romantic and now it is hot and steamy.
Toni POV
Morning After
I woke up hopping that last night wasn't a dream. It wasn't. Cheryl was in my arms sleeping like an angel. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps that I could lay there all day. I closed my eyes again and 2 minutes later Cheryl kissed me on my cheek and tried to get out of bed without making any noise. It didn't really work. "Good morning beautiful" I said. She realized I was up so she jumped back on the bed and hugged me. "Do you want something to eat?" I wasn't really hungry. "no thanks... is that my flannel?" "Oh yeah. Sorry" I saw her trying to take it off "No don't take it off you look hot in it" She kissed me and few seconds later I was on top of her.
**KNOCK KNOCK**
Cheryl POV
"SHIT" I ran to the door to unlock an open it and it wasn't who I expected it to be.
"Veronica? What are you doing here?"
Toni POV
Great. Veronica is here. "I was driving by and I thought I would stop over to hang- *laughs* why is SHE here" oh how I wanted to get up out of Cheryl's bed and clock her square in the face. "TT slept over. What's so funny about that?" Veronica said "nothing. It's just that me and you should be hanging out. Not her and you. Nerd and popular don't get along, popular and popular get along."
Cheryl POV
"Toni is not a nerd and I'm not just gonna stand here and listen to you be a bitch to her. I don't know what's gotten into you lately but I'm not liking it ronnie... close the front door on your way out." *SLAM* (door closes) I sat back on the bed and Toni looked upset. "I'm sorry about her TT." "It's not your fault. Veronica never really liked me so this isn't new to me..." I wanted revenge on Veronica. No one makes fun of Toni and doesn't get consequences. "I will get her back Toni. Don't worry." Toni shook her head " babe please just leave it alone. I don't want another reason for the whole school to laugh and make fun of me." I said okay. "So... breakfast?"
Afternoon
Toni went back to her trailer after we ate. I spent the day dancing around in my room since I was so happy and exited. I showered, put on makeup, and got in my car. I was driving to sweetpea's trailer to tell him everything that happened last night. he is like my brother... i tell him everything. I was about to knock on his trailer door when I heard Toni's voice coming from his trailer. "....And then I kissed her." Wow. Great minds really do think alike. I saw fangs walking to the trailer from behind me. "Cheryl? What's up. Wait... are you here for Toni's good news too? My phone blew up this morning to meet at the trailer." Sweet pea and Toni walked out. "Cheryl uh- what are you doing here" sweet pea said. I laughed and walked towards Toni and hugged her. I heard sweet pea whispering something to fangs and heard fangs yell out "NO WAY REALLY?!" Toni and I both turned around and said "really". Captain obvious strikes again. Fangs ran towards us and pushed us into the trailer and closed the door. I awkwardly said to Toni " you know... these walls are really thin."
