"yeah... i kinda figured" i said and we laughed. "i think we should we talk about last night... i have to talk to you about some things" cheryl sat as she sat on the couch gesturing for me to come sit next to her... "what do you want to talk about" i asked. "i... i want to know where we stand... i mean, just yesterday i would never have thought i would be where i am right now." cheryl said. "and where are you right now..." i said moving closer to her. "falling hard for my bestfriend..." cheryl said to me in a kinda happy kinda hot way. she leaned in to kiss me and i cupped her face and did the same... our lips connected and it seemed to be like a normal thing for us to do. im in love with her... always have been, but she was the perfect girl. too perfect for me. i feel like i dont deserve her. "i dont deserve you." i pulled out of the kiss and said. "toni of course you do. if anything i dont deserve you... you are such a good person even though your in a gang now" i giggled... "you've never been mean to anyone even when your in a bad mood, your the best friend anyone could ever have...." she paused... "i love you toni" she said softly looking right into my eyes. "i love you too... so much" i said and she smiled and jumped into my arms and kissed me as we heard a big thud and an "OUCH".... we ran outside to see sweet pea on the floor and fangs hanging onto the windowsill on the outside of the trailer. "what are you idiots trying to do." cheryl said to the boys and they turned red. "definitely not trying to hear you both SAY I LOVE YOU TO EACHOTHER!!" fangs said trying to make our faces turn as red as theirs was... it didnt work. cheryl just grabbed me and full on made out with me right in front of the boys making them even more red. "good job dumbass. your the reason of this uncomfortable tension now" sweet pea said to fangs. cheryl pulled out, winked at me, and hopped on my motorcycle and said "lets ride..." "thats not the only thing toni will be riding" sweet pea said making cheryls face red as a tomato. "YOU GOT HER" fangs said high fiving sweets. "woah you made cheryls face red. such an accomplishment!" i said to the boys as i rode away with cheryl on the back of my motorcycle holding onto me tightly.

pop's

cheryl pov

toni and i walked into pops hand in hand... her face dropped when she saw veronica in a booth with betty. she didnt like ronnie... i dont even think i like her anymore. "oh look who it is... the door slammer." veronica said in a sarcastic tone to me. i rolled my eyes at her and hugged betty who got up to greet us. "toni topaz.... woah you changed a lot.. in a good way of course" betty said to toni in a friendly way and hugged her. "thanks betty" toni said and smiled. her smile... it made me grin a little but no one saw... except for betty. Toni and i took a seat behind the booth v and b were sitting in. we stayed there for an hour and talked about the most random things... until i got a phone call.

toni pov

cheryl and i were having a great time talking and then she picked up her phone... she ran out of the diner crying and i ran to follow her but veronica had tripped me and i fell to the floor twisting my ankle so bad that i could barely stand up straight... "omg toni are you okay" betty asked.

cheryl pov

i ran out of pops when i found out that my nana was in the hospital... only veronica ran after me... toni didnt come. "cher what happened" veronica said as she hugged me. "my... my nana" i said trying to talk through the pain, but also the pain that toni didnt run after me.... i started to tell veronica what happened when she said to me "cher how come you keep looking at the door into pops" "i guess i just thought toni would have run after me too..." i said crying worse. "i guess i just care about you more than she-" veronica said, but got cut off. "no she doesnt cheryl... i dont know why you would do that to toni veronica... im so disappointed in you. cheryl i would go inside to check on toni if i were you... v tripped her so that she couldnt run after you and she hurt herself badly." betty said as she walked home by herself. "BETTY STOP" veronica said as she ran after betty.

toni pov

cheryl ran through the door to find me on the floor with pop helping me up. "toni what happened... thanks pop" cheryl said as pop handed me to cheryl as we walked out of pops diner and sat on the front steps. "seriously toni what happened you can tell me" i said comforting her. "it doesnt matter what happened to me... what was that phone call about are YOU okay?" i asked her as a tear rolled down her face... "my nana is in the hospital... she fell down the stairs they said. i dont believe it... i think..." cheryl said but then paused "cheryl you can tell me" i said as i held her hand. "i think my uncle pushed her down the stairs..." she said to me frightened. "you know how to ride a motorcycle right" i said to her. "yeah?" she answered. "lets go. we are going to the hospital... i would drive but i think im not about ready to use my leg for anything after that fall" i said limping to the motorcyle. "thank you toni... i love you" cheryl got up from the steps in front of pop's and said. "i love you more blossom. never forget that." i said to cheryl she drove away.
