The next morning I was awoken by the sound of beeping. I jerked awake, forgetting I was in a hospital. Dr. Sorenson waltzed in, "Zoey! How did you sleep?" Her enthusiasm sickened me, but that's a rude thing to say so I just nodded my head.

I didn't sleep very well and I'm pretty positive she could tell. I had the chills, shuddered and asked, "when am I able to go home? I'm getting pretty tired of being here...I mean don't get me wrong, you're excellent company I just would like to go home." Dr. Sorenson looked at me like I was speaking Latin. She nervously chuckled and I knew that wasn't good.

"Zoey, you've only been here one day....we need to keep you here until we can figure why you keep having these blackouts and how to stop them."

I huffed and crossed my arms around my bosom. "Fine. Whatever. Do what you need to do." I said with anger. Dr. Sorenson didn't try to say anything else. She turned towards the door and walked out. I laid my head back on the crap pillow that the hospital provided.

I closed my eyes, taking a minute to relax as a bunch of doctors and nurses shuffled in. I slowly opened my eyes. Turning my head I stared them down. "Do you mind giving me like an hour to myself before you start poking me with your gosh darn needles?" I asked with a hint of annoyance in my tone.

None of them looked shocked which kind of surprised me, but they walked back into the hallway.  I returned to how I was when they all came in and began to drift off.  A loud voice rang in  the back of my mind and I couldn't recognize whose it was.

"Zoey, listen to very carefully.  Very soon you will have to make a choice between good and evil. You must make the right choice that will save the world. Otherwise everything is doomed. I will guide you for sometime towards the choice you should make, but in the end everything will be up to you".
