Dr. Hatch spoke so elegantly. I forgot I was even in a classroom, that is until I heard the bell ring. I groaned in disappointment, knowing I had to leave his class. I remembered something Kate said and I jogged up to his desk excitedly.

"Dr. Hatch! You are an amazing teacher! I'm Zoey Quincy. I totally forgot that we were in a classroom the entire time you were teaching! I was already hooked on history, but now I'm even more hooked! Thank you! I'll be in your fourth period class too!"

He laughed at my excitement. When he turned and saw my face there was something different about how he looked at me. It was a little off, but I didn't mind.

"Well if it isn't the famous Zoey. Kate has told me a lot about you. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the lesson. Now my period four class is history level two which judging by your comment I'm guessing you love a challenge. I've been teaching for two days now so why is this the first time I've seen your face?" He explained, completely amused.

I chuckled and said, "I've been in the hospital because of some health issues that happened when I was born, but I'm perfectly fine now! I am so ready to take on fourth period!"

He laughed once more and told me to hurry along. The goth girl, Nichelle made her way past me. She bumped into my shoulder as she entered his room. I stopped for a bit to see what they were talking about.

"Sir, I found her. Her powers are remarkable. She replicated mine and used them against me, but somehow made them more powerful as she did it." Nichelle exclaimed

I realized very quickly that they were talking about me and I panicked. I almost ran, but I wanted to hear what Dr. Hatch had to say. Surely he wasn't going to believe her.

"I just met the little child. I am quite fond of her actually. Now you say she replicated your powers and made them her own? All while enhancing them?" Dr. Hatch asked respectfully.

"Yes sir. It was the weirdest thing I have ever had to feel." Nichelle responded.

Dr. Hatch chuckled. "Well then, she's perfect for our school."
