I did nothing interesting that day. Partly because Hester wasn't around and I have no other friends. At least I had enough time to do all the stuff for school. Except that group project from History. I asked to myself why I should wait for the rest of my team. I didn't have an answer so I started researching some stuff about Greek mythology.

Around 11 pm I was so tired that I had to go to bed. I've done enough today and I was kind of proud of myself and I decided I deserve some sleep.

However I didn't sleep for long because exactly at 3 am my phone started to ring. I looked at my phone and the screen showed it was Hester. Obviously, who else would it be?

"Yeah?" I asked sleepily.

"Hi, I hope you weren't asleep. Did I woke you up?"

"No, it's 3 in the morning. Of course you didn't woke me up. I was skydiving!" I can be quite sarcastic sometimes.

"Never mind. I need your help. Let's say murder wasn't on today's agenda." I didn't even question it.

"It's not on anyone's."

"No, it's on mine, just not until next Thursday."

"And what do you want from me? Last I checked you were able to hide a body on your own.

"Yeah, but I accidently broke my finger when I was digging grave and I have to have it done by morning. Would you come to help me, please?"

I told her to meet me at my house in 15 minutes and I started to prepare myself. When I was about to leave I checked everything one more time. Clothes? On. Dark cap covering my hair? On. Gloves? On. Shovel? In my hand. Okay, I'm prepared. Don't ask me how many times I had to do this. I lost count after 15. Surprisingly I'm so calm that it bothers me a little.

"Psst, out here." I heard whispering from outside. Hester.

"I'm coming. Just a second." I replied.

I grabbed a bottle of water (you never know how long it would take you to dig a grave) and ran outside.

"Finally, I thought that you fell asleep in the middle of corridor. Common, the body won't hide itself." She started to jump as she went and she sang quietly some song.

"You shouldn't sound so excited about it."

"Why not? It'll be a good bonding time. Aren't you happy?" Her smile was spread all across her face. I don't remember to see her so happy since... ever.

"You are sick. We are going to hide a body. Could you act serious for just two minutes?"

She answered me after a couple of minutes. "I gave it some serious thought, but I'm afraid that's not possible." A second after she started to humble another song quietly. This is gonna be a long night.

This one chapter is really short and I'm sorry for it. I promise the next one will be longer.
