Robin Nakama's Character Analysis

Appearance:

Robin is a male that wears black glasses with prescription because he's blind as hell on both eyes. He has short-medium dark brown hair that leans more to the color black. Sometimes his hair is curly or straight depending on the weather. He has dark brown eyes and is around 5'4 or 5'5.

Personality:

His first impression would be shy but it doesn't take him too long to break out of his shell.
He's normally an ambivert depending on who he's talking to like an acquaintance, mutual, close friend, etc.
He's very smart and intelligent but he always reminds you about the assignments you have and makes sure you do them on time.
Most of his friends call him a father figure.

His age is 16 and turns 17 during the middle of the story.

Backstory:

Before meeting Ren and all of this Meta-Nav stuff here's his history.

(Age 4): Both of his parents were really busy and didn't really interact with nether of them.
(Age 5-7): He starts to challenge himself with assignments that his school provided. He received "student of the month" rewards and "perfect attendance" awards most of his elementary school years.
(Age 8-10): He felt pressured with middle school and his teachers weren't helping him at all. This was his worse times but thankfully his friends comforted him and reassured him.
(Age 11-15): He focused on homework but sometimes he uses his spare time to hang out with his friends after school.

Relationships:

Father: Back during his childhood both his father and mother were strict, but were a little more carefree because of his age at the time. When middle school started, they became more strict. However when he started Hanzoku Academy, his father becomes more friendly. He starts to trust his father more.
Their current relationship is pretty close.

Mother: During his childhood and middle school years she was pretty strict on Robin. When he started Hanzoku Academy, she became more pressuring on him. She was like a security camera watching over him making sure he did nothing but study during the whole day. He felt uncomfortable knowing that he was watched whenever he did anything.
Their current relationship is complicated.

Oroka Yokubo: His childhood friend, but when he met Kenny and Kyle during middle school. Oroka became aggressive towards him and followed whatever class, and school he took to prove that he was better and smarter. This also added to Robin's worse time.
He left Oroka due to his sudden change of behavior in the first day of middle school.
Oroka was too confident and assumed that he was correct no matter what the teacher said. He nearly dated most of the girls in middle school, which also made Robin uncomfortable. He continues to do this even in Hanzoku Academy since he was the smartest student he kept shoving it in Robin's face.
Their current relationship is rivals.

Damien Sumato: A friend he made during his middle school years.
Whenever Oroka made Robin uncomfortable he would go to him and Kenny to get away from him for a bit. However, he became closer friends with him and chatted about anything that happened during school.
They both decided to go to Hanzoku Academy. When Robin notice that Oroka was going there as well, he continued to stay with Kyle and Kenny hoping that he wouldn't encounter with Oroka until he changed. They began dating when they started their second year in Hanzoku Academy. Unfortunately they broke up but thankfully it was dealt with maturely
Their current relationship is friends.

Kenny Runa: A friend he made during his middle school years. Kenny was also close friends with Damien as well. The three of them would stick together because of his problem with Oroka. Kenny and Robin talked a lot about B-pop and their favorite bands.
Even during Hanzoku Academy, he convinces Robin to listen to his favorite band QOONA.
Their current relationship is close friends.

Ren Kincho: His friend/classmate when Ren first transferred to Hanzoku Academy. Gossiping about Ren abusing his mother was spreading quirky around the academy but he didn't believe it. He looked Ren at the eyes and knew he wasn't the type to do such a thing. When the two discovered the Meta-Nav he told Kenny and Damien about it. The four of them became a small group that knew an app on Ren's phone that makes them see things differently the hard way.
Their current relationship is mutuals.

Jelly Aisuru: He went to middle school with her but they were both shy to talk to each other.
Their current relationship is acquaintances.

Lydia Chishiki: They've taken a class together in their first year. They now encountered each other at the art contest.
Their current relationship is an old classmates.
