Tomura Shigaraki was what one would describe as unusual. Not only did he posses the ability to turn anything he touches to mere dust but also did he hold the knowledge of a thousand philosophers, he had the ability to think which may not seem like much at first thought but when it's revealed that Tomura is actually a Villian, then we realize the true meaning of the statement. He was an evil genius with a powerful quirk, and in his eyes that was all he thought he needed in his life.
But even the cleverest of people can still make mistakes.
Dabi. A simple boy with an even simpler name, he first came across Tomura when he heard of his desires, desires to rid of the number one pro hero All Might, that is. Although Dabi acted tough, with which his quirk came in handy, he really wasn't as one sided and evil as he first appeared.
Tomura had heard of Dabis quirk and how he agreed with his own motives and ambitions and instantly he became hooked. Even without laying his eyes upon the boy Tomura wanted to know everything about Dabi. He was excited about their meet, and the day couldn't have come any quicker.
