Metal Table

Vi's POV

Lucy was finally asleep. I closed her door quietly, not wanting to wake her. Letting out a breath, I returned to the kitchen to deal with Robin. When I left him to put our daughter to bed, he was once more asleep on a metal table. I don't know why or how, so don't ask.

He wasn't there when I got there. I checked the bedroom. No Robin. "Please, please not again..........!!" I nervously and anxiously mumbled to myself. Robin has gone missing for periods of time. When I knew he was either in pain, or having negative feelings, and not being allowed to see him because I was a "distraction" was bad on my emotional and mental output.

You see, when demons have partners, they can create a special enough bond to where it emotionally hurts both partners to be separated for a certain amount of time. Robin is a demigod. I'm a demon with a very soft heart. I have no idea how it affects him but, for me, using the time I was pregnant with Lucy for example. I became really stressed. Anxious. I had bad feelings in my gut and stomach everyday (stomach pain was probably just Lucy). Mood swings were common as well. I couldn't figure something out rationally, and just used my emotions.

I took a breath. I'm over reacting. He wouldnt disappear now.

I looked in the office. No Robin. In the kitchen again. No Robin.
Bathrooms?
No Robin.
Most unusual places (that I have found him in before) like the washing machine and the fridge?
No Robin.

I flopped onto the couch. Flame, my best friend and household cat, emerged from the pile of blankets at the end of the couch, and layed in front of my face. Thanks a lot, stupid cat I thought to myself. I groaned, thus the breath from it making her fur wave a bit. Eventually, my eyes closed, and stayed closed.

I don't know how long it was, but when my eyes fluttered open, there was something on my back. Not Flame --- she moved to right up against my crotch, asleep once more. It wasn't Lucy, she's tiny. This thing, was big.

I turned around quickly, and did a hard jab with my elbow into the creature's side in the process. It took this as a big suprise. Rolling over, I hovered over it, with a hand pinning it down, another holding a knife I swiped earlier, ready to attack. My eyes widened.
"Robin?!?!??!" I exclaimed, this time me being shocked and suprised.
This made my husband laugh his ass off.
