Promise

Chaper 1

It has almost been two years since I moved to Seoul with Jimin and the rest of BTS. I seems like yesterday that I was living in Indiana. They had come to visit me and that is how this whole adventure started. I would never trade any of this though because this is where I'm supposed to be. I love it here with Jimin and the guys.

On June 22, 2018, Jimin and I got married. That is a day I will never forget. Saying yes to a life with Jimin forever was the best decision I could have made. I love him and that will never change. Having all of our friends with us was a great feeling. They will always be our support system.

A couple months after we got married, we decided we wanted to start a family together. We both thought about it for awhile because we were both nervous about it. We weren't sure about it because Jimin is in BTS, but we both decided that we could do it. I told him that I would be everywhere that he went and he told me that he would help me with the baby as much as he possibly could.

I became pregnant with our very first baby. We were both really excited. I had a lot of help from the other boys during this time because I couldn't do a lot. Skip ahead nine months and our baby girl was born. We named her Grace and she looks a lot like her dad. I see it more and more every day as she grows up. She is almost two now and she loves to be around her dad and uncles.

We bought ourselves a house in Seoul shortly after we got married. It's the perfect size for us and with Jimin being busy a lot it is perfect for what we need. With the group touring, we may not be there much anyway.

I'm still occasionally writing pieces for the blog I work for. They are still focused solely on BTS and everything that they do. Once I had Grace I slowly stopped doing so much work for them. I want to focus on my family.

Overall, living here in Seoul has been so fun. I love it here and I wish I could have come sooner. I love the city and everything in it. I feel like I belong here and I feel so welcome. The guys have welcomed me into their lives and they let me go to everything with them. Being with and around them all the time has really opened my eyes to a lot of things. Their lives are much more strict and harder than the public gets to see.

*Today*

I get up and get ready for the day before I go into Grace's room. I take her out of her crib and carry her into our kitchen. I set her in the high chair and I give her some sliced up fruit to eat. I look down at her and smile.

"We are going to see daddy." I tell her. Grace looks at me and smiles. She coos softly as she eats her fruit. Such a daddy's girl. I turn around and grab some food for myself. I sit in front of Grace and we eat our breakfast together.

After we are done eating, I grab some things for Grace. I put our things in a diaper bag and I grab her. I leave our house and I start walking down the sidewalk. The best thing about our house is that it's walking distance to BigHit. Shortly after I start walking, I let Grace down and softly take her hand. Grace looks up at me.

"Daddy!" She cheerfully says. I smile. We've done this trip so much that she knows where we are going.

"Are you excited to see him?" I ask her. She starts jumping around as we walk and I take that as a yes. She's always excited to see her dad. When we get to the venue I open the door for her and we walk inside together. The lady at the front desk always greets us whenever we are here. She smiles when she sees us.

"Hello sweetie." She says to Grace. I smile as Grace waves at her as we pass. We walk down the hallway towards the practice rooms. One of the doors to one of the room's is open and I slow down as we get closer. I look inside and there is a group of five boys inside. They are practicing to one of their songs. I look down at Grace and she is watching them intently. I kneel down beside her and she starts to softly clap her hands.

"Isn't it cool, Grace. Your daddy does this doesn't he?" I ask her. She nods her little head and smiles. I look back up at the boys and they noticed that we are watching. I smile and stand back up.

"Wave goodbye." I tell Grace and she waves at the boys. I notice that they start to smile before we keep walking. When we get to BTS's practice room, Grace is trying to open the door herself. She knows her dad is on the other side. I open the door for her and let her hand go. She goes running inside and I follow her in.

The guys all stop what they're doing as soon as Grace runs in. She heads straight for Jimin and he scoops her up into his arms. I follow her to Jimin and he wraps one arm around me.

"How are my girls?" He asks with a smile.

"Excited to see you." I tell him and kiss his cheek. Jimin kisses me then kisses the top of Grace's head.

"I'm happy to see you." He says. Grace looks behind Jimin and starts wiggling around.

"Unc Sug." Grace says excitedly and Jimin lets her go. Grace instantly runs to Yoongi, who is kneeling on the ground with his arms open for her. Grace collides into his arms and Yoongi hugs her. He smiles at her and softly kisses her forehead. I smile and my heart melts. Yoongi and Grace, two peas in a pod those two.
