I felt the peace that he felt when he was in the middle of the deep sea. I knew he was unconscious. But the peace overwhelmed me. Not in the way the questions did, but in the way where there was a warm feeling in your chest. Like gentle, soft waves washing over my body. This feeling was so peaceful but at the same time unnerving. I had only felt this feeling when I was underwater. And I couldn't breathe. And I knew the exact thing my parents were thinking.

We can't lose him again!

Then, I had the weirdest feeling. It felt like I had been launched out of my own body. And I was floating right above my body. I was not in my body, but in it at the same time. That's what confused me. I was hovering above my body. Facing my body. But no one could see me. It was as if my soul left my body. I looked so peaceful. I wonder if this is what I looked like after I had... after the deed.

Then, I got shoved back in my body and shuttered back to life.

"OH MY GOD, MY BOY!" My mom rushed over, I could tell tears were on her face. She cupped my head in her hands. "I couldn't lose you again!" I told you so.

My dad opened the door and said one of the phrases that I have read and seen in tons of books and movies. "We need a doctor!"

I still felt fine, It felt as if nothing happened to me. That's why I was shocked to see the IV in my arm, clear liquid swimming through the tube into my veins. I looked to the other arm, there was another IV, except this time red, thick liquid was swimming through it, and it was entering my veins. It was leaving them. They were taking my blood away. Something about this didn't add up. I was fine.

Why were they taking my blood? Were they replacing it with the clear liquid? What were they doing to me?

"Oh honey, you are going to be alright," My mom was still around me, looking into my eyes. I looked away.

The door clicked open, and a doctor rushed through.

"Honey, you are going to be alright," My mom said again, this time, her voice sounded high-pitched and creepily distorted. I was still avoiding eye contact with her.

"Honey, look at me!" She said, her voice still high and distorted. I moved my eyes and looked at her. But all that was there was darkness. Where her eyes used to be. There were black hollow holes. I jumped in my bed. Then I felt something drip on me. I looked down and there was black gooey liquid. Reminiscent of tar. I looked back up at her face. There was that black liquid, dripping from her mouth, which was now hanging open, and all that was inside was darkness. I looked back up at her eyes.

They were still hollow, that black tar dripping from her eyes. Then she screamed.
