The Contract

" Kay, wake up. Your alarm is going off like crazy." Jessie said shaking Kay.
"Oh Shit. Jess please throw my shirt in the dryer." Kay said throwing the shirt at Jessie and jumping in the shower. 40 mins later Kay came running out the house and smacked herself into something hard.

"I am so sorry sir." Kay said picking up the items that fell out of her purse. The man stuck out his hands to help Kay up. "Oh my God, Mr. Sly. I am so sorry, please don't fire me." Kay said.
"Fire you? It's never that serious." Marco said laughing. Kay took his hand and stood up."Let me guess, your alarm didn't go off either?"
"Yeah. Guess I'll just go without coffee for today." Kay said pulling her phone out.
"Well since we already are late, let's stop and get some breakfast."Marco said pointing to the restaurant above.

"Are you sure." Kay said walking in.

"I'm the boss. We can just say I had a business matter that I needed your help with and we got food on the way." he said grabbing Kay's waist and pulling her in.
"For here or to go ?" the waitress asked
"To go." Kay answered. Marco chuckled and handed the menu back to the waitress

"Three of the special of the day and 3 coffees." She nodded her head and came back fifteen minutes later with a bag of food and carrying case for the coffees.
"

I hope you don't mind me asking this question, but where is your car?" Kay asked
"I left it at my brother's house. It broke down." he said
"You didn't want to ride with him?"
"No I hate his driving.He drives like a grandmother." He said pulling the office door open. "And besides were already here. He'll be pulling up in about five or so minutes." The pair headed upstairs and began to eat their breakfast.

"This food is so amazing. It's like sex in my mouth." Kay covered her mouth as she had just realised what she had said to her boss."I'm so sorry. It's just that I'm a foody and when I eat really good food I say whatever comes to my mind first to describe it."
"It's fine. Besides I think that food is having a better time exploring that mouth of-" Marco was saying  before he was cut off by his brother walking in.

"Ah I see Mar has taken you to Lenny's.  Best breakfast in the whole wide world. Please tell me you got me some?" Erik said with a pleading look.

"Just because I think you're an idiot sometimes doesn't mean I want you to starve, your food is in the microwave. " Marco said wiping his hands off.
Erik grabbed his food with a toddler grin. As he put a piece of pancake in his mouth it fell on his shirt.
"Jeez. The car will be here in about five minutes to come get us. I'm just gonna run to my office to change. Marco can you grab the blueprint and Kay can you grab the contract please. I believe I dropped it off on your desk before I left last night." The pair nodded and headed off in their separate directions.
"Where is that damn contract at?" Kay yelled out.
"I bet it's still on his desk. Men, can never do what they say they're gonna do." Kay walked to his office a door down and knocked. No one had answered, so she just walked in. "There we go. Contract right here." She grabbed it and dropped it on the floor. She huffed and bent down to pick it up just as she was met with a hard thud.

"Kay, what are you doing in here?" Asked Erik puzzled.
"You had said you left the contract on my desk but it wasn't there so I had come in here to grab it and then I bumped into you. I wasn't coming in here to sneak a peak, I just wanted the contract." She said holding up the folder.
"Well I guess I should throw on a shirt then. Since we have everything now. " Erik said grabbing his shirt.  Kay walked out and began heading to the car. Apart of her was embarrassed to have ran into her boss but another part of her was happy to have ran into him.
