I knew that I was head over heels in love with Jeff. But I could never ever tell him so because it could ruin our best friendship if we'd get together and break up. So I suffered silently. Until Matt,(who was like a brother to me),decided to watch us intently together as of late. A knock sounded on the door. It was Matt. "Just a sec." I threw on my silk robe and ran to get the door. Matt smiled at me. I smiled back. "Hey um, are you busy right now sis?" "No why?" "I just wanna know if you wanna go with me to grab breakfast for me you and Jeff. And also I need to talk to you about something." "Sure. Lemme get dressed." "Ok. Meet me in the lobby in fifteen minutes." I shut the door. I showered quickly and got dressed in jeans tank top and sneakers. I pulled my hair into a bun. I wrote a sleeping Jeff a quick note and grabbed a key card. I shut the door softly behind me. I met Matt in the lobby and we drove to a cute lil diner where we ordered bacon,eggs,waffles,coffee and fresh fruit for breakfast. Then we drove back to the hotel. We sat in the car and talked before entering the hotel. "What are your inteeentions with Brother Nero?" I laughed hearing him using the "Broken Matt Hardy" gimmick." "I really enjoy our best friendship. I deeply care about him and we have a lot of fun together." He grinned. "Is that all dear sister? Or is there more to it than that?Do you love him?" I almost choked on my coffee. There's no way that Matt picked up on those vibes. I laughed nervously as we exited the car,heading through the lobby. "Dude we're best friends. That'd be so weird." Matt looked at me. "I know you as well as I know Brother Nero and I know when y'all don't tell the truth." I replied,"You're so off about us bro." We were almost to the door. He studied my face a moment then said,"I know you two made love last night." I slipped the key card in the slot and the door buzzed opened. Matt got the door for me while I brought the food and coffee in. We were both stunned to see a naked Beth moving her hips up and down as she straddled Jeff. She was moaning loudly,saying,"Ah yes Jeffro. Give it to me baby." Jeff replied,"Beth get the hell off of me!" Matt yelled,"What the hell is going on here?!" Beth turned around and grinned. "Jeff told me to come to him so I did. Now we're back together." I didn't see the glare that Jeff sent her nor did I hear him tell her to get off of him. Tears streamed down my face as I turned around and ran away. Matt followed me and slung his strong arms around my waist in a brotherly way. He hugged me close. "Shhh. Dear sister I'm sure it's not what it looks like." Matt took my hand and pulled me along beside him back to Jeff's room. Beth was cuddled up to Jeff. "Yeah right Matt! It's exactly what it looks like!" Jeff by now had pushed Beth off of him and got dressed. "I can't even deal with this right now." Matt tried to stop me from leaving but I shoved him,catching him completely off guard and flying backwards on the floor. "Sorry Matt",I muttered.
He growled at me but I just continued running. I didn't see that Jeff was gaining on me until I looked back and saw him give chase. I also didn't see the brick wall that I ran into either. I went forehead first into the bricks and then backwards onto the sidewalk. I knocked myself out cold. Jeff had picked me up and cradled me against his chest. He carried me back to the room. Matt had made sure I wasn't brain damaged or busted up anywhere. Jeff had laid beside me holding me the entire time. I however woke up on Jeff's chest and wanted so badly to tell him how deeply I felt about him. Then Beth knocked on the door and demanded to speak with Jeff. I struggled to get free of the death grip Jeff had around my waist,which only managed to make him squeeze me tighter within the confines of his arms. "Feisty I swear if you try to escape,you're not gonna like how I'm gonna respond",he growled at me. Beth again yelled,"C'mon Jeffro! Answer the door!" I made another desperate attempt to get away from Jeff. I realized what a huge mistake I made when he growled again and quickly flipped me beneath him. He stared intently into my eyes. "Stop being so stubborn Feisty! I'll get the door. Don't you dare move either or you won't like how I respond!" He went to the door as I muttered,"Oooh. I'm so scared of you Jeff." He turned to glare at me. "Keep getting mouthy and you will be. I guarantee it honey." I gulped nervously. He angrily opened the door. "Beth I told you I'm done with you! You cheated and now I'm done. I want nothing else to do with you ever again." "But I want you to know that.." He cut her words off at the kneecaps,"I don't care. Nothing you say or do now will change what's happened or the fact that I've moved on. And I suggest that you do the same thing." Her face turned from hopeful to angry in a second. "With who huh Jeffro?!" He shrugged but I seized the opportunity to jump into his arms and kiss him,while rubbing his chest and belly at the same time. Beth was infuriated. "With me",I breathlessly responded as I rubbed my cheek against his chest. She made a move to slap Jeff but I intercepted her hand and punched her in the face,sending her flying into the wall in the hallway. "Leave him alone Beth. He doesn't want you anymore." Jeff and I shut the door. When I turned around,Jeff pulled me into a fierce hug and kissed me so passionately I thought I would faint. Tenderly he put me on the bed and pressed his body into mine as he covered me. He kissed me again. Then he flipped over onto his back,pulling me gently into a snuggling position at his side. My head rested on his chest and my thigh was over his hip.
"I never touched her Charisma. I want you to know that and before you ask me no we did not have sex either." I raised my head to look at him. "It's not my business either way Jeff." He caressed my cheek. "Why'd I have to chase you then? You obviously were hurt by that and I hated seeing you like that baby." "Jeff I don't think Beth's right for you." "That's exactly why I'm not with her anymore." He kissed me sweetly and started undressing me. Our hands were all over each other. We made love over and over for hours then cuddled together. Jeff leaned up on an elbow and looked down into my eyes. "Charisma,I've gotta get something off of my chest." "What's on your mind Jeff?" "I don't even know where to start." I smiled. "At the beginning?" He grinned. "I'm being serious Charisma." I was curious,however nothing could have prepared me for what he was about to admit. "I care so deeply about you." "I know Jeff and I care deeply about you",I heard myself admitting. "Charisma,I um,have certain feelings for you." I know Jeff." "You know",he asked incredulously. He looked surprised. "Well yeah. I mean we are best friends so it's only natural that we feel certain things towards each other."
"Maybe I'm uh not saying it right Charisma. I'm in love with you." He looked expectantly in my eyes. "I uh,don't know what to say Jeff." "How about how you feel about me Feisty? I'm pretty sure you love me too." I nodded my head yes. "With all my heart." He made love to me over and over again.
