Feisty Enigma

I woke up to a familiar woodsy masculine scent of man filling my nostrils,opened my eyes  and realized that my face was buried in Jeff's chest. I tried to extricate myself from the tangled mass of limbs we had become during sleeping and was finally successful in easing myself off to the bathroom to pee and freshen up. When I returned to lay in the bed Jeff said,"You're already beautiful Feisty. You just need to wake up and not much else". His heartfelt comment made me blush. I tried to hide my face so he wouldn't see it.  He went to the bathroom and returned a few minutes later. Tenderly he lifted my face to look him in his stunning green eyes that always made me weak in the knees. "I know you're still not doubting yourself",he observed. I tried to look away but he wouldn't allow it. "Come here Charisma. ",he urged ,taking my hand and leading me to the bathroom mirror. "You need to look in this mirror right now and see what I see when I look at you". His warm velvety accented voice coaxed me into doing exactly what I didn't want to do..see my face in the mirror. "C'mon baby. Look and see exactly what I see every time I look at you". I did. I didn't see anything special. "Look at how stunning and unique your eyes are honey". As I looked I had to admit that yes he was right. A little. "Your tanned skin is naturally soft to the touch,smooth as silk and unblemished",he said as his hands slid from my shoulders to encircle my waist. "You're a natural beauty babe. You never even need makeup". I smiled. He smiled too. "That's another feauture of yours that I love so much. Your captivating smile". The longer I looked at my reflection the more I did in fact start to see myself exactly as Jeff sees me. I turned in his arms to face him. And looked quickly away. How could I have forgotten that he was naked?? "You always tell me that Jeff. Are you just saying that because we're best friends? Or because you hate seeing me sad?". He hugged me closer and tucked my hair behind my ear as he looked deeply into my eyes. "C'mon baby. You should know by now that I said it because it's true. You know I care about you very deeply and it hurts me to see you like you this babe. You're such an amazing woman and a wonderful friend to me. I'm truly glad that you're back in my life Charisma." I honestly was so emotionally touched by Jeff's words that I couldn't find my voice to respond. He is such a sweet,kind,caring one of a kind man to me. I felt exactly the same way he did,but didn't dare trust myself to speak past the lump in my throat. Tears spilled down my cheeks and onto his chest. He gently lifted my face to look at him. "Hey Charisma,it's okay. I know that you feel the same way that I do.  We're still close baby. I'm right here sweetheart and I ain't going anywhere honey. I promise". I hugged him closer to my body for awhile. "Feisty?"  "Yeah?" "It's super early." "Yeah and?"  "We've got the next 24 hours off from work." "So?" I smiled at him as he grinned cutely. I knew that look in his eyes. He was sweetly up to something. "When was the last time we went to an amusement park baby?"  I smiled even bigger. "Oh goodness. It was when we were in our early teens. Why?".  Jeff took my hand. "Since we're in Tennessee right now Feisty,"he said as he walked us over to our luggage. "What would you say if I suggested us going to Dollywood today?" "Oh my gosh seriously Jeff?" He nodded yes. "Let's do it then",I exclaimed as I jumped up and locked my legs around his waist,happily hugging him closer. He laughed. "Well let's get ready then. He switched to his swim trunks and a black ribbed tank top. He pulled his hair up into a neat man bun. He was applying his deoderant and spraying his cologne as I changed into a black and turquoise bikini that had chain details.  Jeff laughed. "What?" Laughingly he responded,"Oh nothing. I just noticed that now we're twinsies!" I saw our swimsuits matched and I laughed too. I added a pair of black short jean shorts and a black ribbed tank top. We put our sunglasses on. I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail. I glossed my lips and slipped on a pair of sandals. Jeff was tying his sneakers as I applied deoderant and perfume. I grabbed two towels for us. Jeff stood,grabbed my hand,snatched his key card,wallet and car keys before shutting the door behind us as we left. We walked through the lobby and some fans spotted us. They asked Jeff to pose for a few pics with them so he obliged happily. Then he playfully threw me over his shoulder and raced to the rental car as I laughed and demanded he put me down. We drove the short distance to Dollywood. We searched around for a parking space and finally found one after ten minutes. After locking the car Jeff took my hand in his as we walked to the ticket booth. "Hi there y'all. Welcome to Dollywood. My name is Tawsha. What can I do for y'all lovely folks today"the lady behind the counter said as she eyed Jeff up and down as if were a 10 course meal at a fancy restaurant. He smiled politely,not seeming to notice. "We just need 2 combo tickets for the amusement and water park passes",he kindly replied. "Sure thing sugar".  He handed her cash and she gave him his change back. Then she let us through the front gate to the park. It looked awesome. Jeff turned to me. "So what are we doing first babe?"
