I finished watching Mary Poppins Returns for the first time and oh my god, it was amazing. I absolutely loved it. During the scene where Michael is singing in the attic and 'The place where the lost things go' scene, I had to keep telling myself "Don't cry, don't cry" otherwise I'd probably start bawling my eyes out.
On another note, I ship Jane and Jack so much! In this one scene, Mary Poppins insisted that Jane let Jack give her a ride to the rally she was going to. My mom said (referring to Mary Poppins) "She's playing matchmaker." And inside I was like "Yup! She totally ships them."
Author's Note:
I started writing this part around 10:40 and stopped before the part where I say what my mom said because my mom, my sister and myself went to see whether anyone we still doing fireworks. It's Victoria Day over here in Canada. So we watched some fireworks then came home. I finished writing this part (minus the author's note around 11:10)
