Chapter 4~ I missed you

 I go sit next to Grayson in the back of the class with a paper for me and a paper for him. As i sit down i could see Grayson tense up.

"so are you gonna start with the questions or am i?" i say just acting normal wanting to get this project done and over with.

"uhh whats your favorite color?" Grayson asks. I guess he's going first.

"Baby blue, and whats yours?" i say

"um same" grayson said and i already knew his favorite color its always been baby blue.

"do you still have your dog, umm i mean do you have any pets" Grayson said but he was trying to ask me if i still had my dog Max which i did.

"yes Grayson i still have Max" i say to Grayson,he always liked Max.

"oh okay"Grayson finished

"Still have Cole" i say, Grayson's Dog.

"Uh yeah and oh yeah remember when he was a pup he's like huge now and an expert on his tricks..ha yeah" Grayson said. It kind've made me smile having memories back from when we were kids. Cole was a little trouble maker.

"sounds great" i say.

"sorry got off topic" Grayson said with hurt in his voice. I knew he missed the times we hung out together and honestly i do too, and maybe the project will help build our friendship up again.

"Your fine" I say and I smile and he looks up and smiles at me and we just look in each others eyes...

"Hey baby" A voice said which brought me back to reality, talk about awkward. Grayson and I look at the person in front of us, and there behold Anna!

"uh (coughs) hey Anna" Grayson says nervously.

"Are you still coming to my house tonight?" Anna asks Grayson and he looks over at me then back to Anna.

"I uh Can't" Grayson said and i just sat there shocked.

"Why?!" Anna said just as shocked as i was.

"Because Kayla and I are working on the project tonight

 What! who said this?

"oh.." Anna said giving me a dirty look "Hey Kayla" Anna said, Why.. well i don;t know either.

"hi" I say. And with that said the bell rang and i put my papers in my bag and ran out of the classroom, having one mission..to make it to my locker without any hold ups.

"soo Grayson?" Chloe says now walking beside me.

"yeah i know" i say turning the corner .

"how do you think that's going to work out?" Chloe says as we come to my locker.

" well i don't know, i guess we were doing pretty good until Anna came to us and she asked for him to go to her house but he said no because he's going to work on the project with me tonight" I say opening my locker and a note falling out so i picked it up.

"that wont end well, and is that a note?who's it from!?" Chloe says excited.

"i don't know?" I say and open the note.

I seen you in the hall with Jake and you seem to like him, but i'm going to tell you this now, back off and stay away from him or else!

From: You wish you knew.

"Whats it say?" Chloe says leaning over my shoulder.

"Nothing its just notes i must've missed on Friday when i went to the nurse" i say lying.
