Freshman POV
Octavia and Raven were quick to finish their room, but I helped them anyway. All three of us had known each other since we were in diapers. Once their room was put together I'd called it quits and went back to my room. I was afraid that I would run into my roommate along the way, but hopefully being away for two hours lessened the blow.
When I got back to the room my roommate was finishing her side of the room up, putting out some small trinkets and photo frames. I didn't say anything to her, I had already made a scene once and I didn't want for it to happen again, but when she realized that I was in the room she turned to me and gave a small smile. The type of smile that drives your heart crazy and you can't shake out of your mind.
"I'm Lexa by the way, you left too quickly for me to finish our introduction," She stood her and out and I shook it, her hands were soft the only roughness at the base of her fingers.
Her eyes were a vibrant green and they shined brightly. She had a wicked smile across her lips, we'd be holding hands for too long.
"I'm uhh... gonna put my side of the room together," I rubbed the back of my neck and felt my face heat up.
Lexa nodded her head and laid on her bed, facing away from me, scrolling on her phone. I couldn't help but think of her eyes as I was putting my room together.
~ some time later ~
I had finally put my room together and was starting to miss home even more. My parents had been away for work the last two weeks and I never got to properly say goodbye, god I took advantage of those home cooked meals as a teenager.
Just as I finally got the chance to sit down my phone buzzed.
GROUP NAME: The Three Musketeers
Raven (5:45 PM): Can we go get some food, I miss Clarke :(
Clarke (5:47 PM): I'm pretty hungry, I miss you too Raven. Where you guys thinking for lunch?
Octavia (5:47 PM): When my mom and I toured there was this really good Hawaiian place just up the road
Clarke (5:51 PM): Sounds amazing, I'll be down in five
I threw on my Nike's and a clean shirt, one that I hadn't been sweating in all day. Just as I'm about to leave the room I turn and see Lexa, she's snoring a bit, guess there's no reason to say goodbye.
I met them in the lobby and we walked out to Raven's jeep.
"Did she say anything to you?" Octavia turned around in her seat.
"She introduced herself, her name is Lexa," Octavia's eyes got super wide.
"The Lexa?! Do you have any idea who she is Clarke?" I scratched at my temple.
"No idea," Octavia looked astonished
"She's Trikru's the star goalkeeper, apparently she's played for the youth national team since she was 14. Not only is she an amazing player, but she's insanely attractive," Octavia was practically drooling.
I laughed and we pulled into the restaurant.
Dinner was uneventful, but Octavia did forget to mention that the entire restaurant was vegan. It did give her a chance to introduce us to some of her favorite foods that were vegan and I have to admit that it was pretty good.
Soccer Star POV
Right after Clarke left I had gotten a text from Anya
Anya (6:00 PM): There's a party at Murphy's and we're going
Anya (6:00 PM): No ands, ifs, or buts about it, we need to get drunk
Lexa (6:02 PM): I just barely got settled in here, I don't think it's a good idea tonight
Anya (6:03 PM): You need to get out of that dorm and party a little
Anya (6:03 PM): Hear that knock? I'm already here
There was a loud knock on the door, I changed quickly and answered the door.
Anya was dressed up to party and had two four lokos in her hands, she was grinning like an idiot. Last year at Murphy's we had been crowned champions of Beer Pong and that night we swore to Murphy that we would pre-game hard before his next party so that we couldn't have the "unfair" advantage of beating him and his girlfriend Emoi in the first round.
"Ready for this?" She cracked the two of them open and handed one of them to me. "Saturday's are for dah boys, Lexa"
She downed it so quick, and as I was sipping I started laughing. She burped loudly and collapsed on my bed.
"My heart is definitely going to explode," She wiped sweat off of her forehead and sat up.
I sipped it slowly, hoping it would take longer to go into effect. I'm one to play by the rules, but rules were made to be bent.
Anya started going through my dresser picking out something for me to wear.
"Alright Lex, this is what you're gonna wear. I'm gonna get you laid," I rolled my eyes.
She pulled out a white bralette, a black button-up with skulls on it and a pair of ripped black jeans. Clothes that although I own, I never wear. She throws them at me, almost spilling my drink.
"CAREFUL!" I set my drink on the coaster next to my bed and start changing.
At least Anya had good taste, I look hot.
Once I finish my drink we leave for Murphy's flat.
When we arrive there is loud music blasting from inside, this was gonna be a long night.
*some time later*
We beat Murphy at beer pong for the second year in a row, I got extremely drunk and was ready to go home.
I had called an Uber, but Emori offered to drive me back to the dorm. While in the car I fell in and out of sleep, we didn't live that far apart, but if felt like forever getting there.
"Are you sure that you don't want me to walk you up?" Emori put a hand on my shoulder and shook me awake.
"No. I'm good. Thanks for the ride." I slurred on some of my words.
I stumbled up the stairs to my dorm and when I finally got to my door struggled to put the key in, but the door opened and Clarke was standing there.
Freshman POV
I opened the door to find an extremely drunk Lexa. She was holding a black four loko in her hand and raised the can towards me. Her hair was in a messy bun and her abs were showing underneath the bralette. If it wasn't for the drunkenness in her walk, she'd almost seem sober.
"Hello there Clarke," She was grinning like an idiot and fell almost taking another step into the dorm.
I put an arm around her, taking the four loko out of her hand and guiding her to the bed. Carefully helping her sit.
"Alright Lexa, take off your shoes," I instructed.
"Youuuuu take my shhoethes off" Lexa teased, dragging a finger down my cheek.
"Stop it Lexa," I flinched, pulling away from her.
"Oh come back," She started to take her shoes off, "I saw you staring at me earlier, tell me honestly you don't want some of this"
"I'm going to bed Lexa." I go to close the dorm door, locking it and laying down in my bed. I face the wall.
Soccer Star POV
My brain felt fuzzy, but I stared at Clarke as she made gentle movements around the room. I watched her climb into bed and begin to drift off.
"I'm sorry Clarke"
There was no response for a few moments.
"Goodnight Lexa"
I smiled, coving myself in blankets and facing Clarke. She was already sleeping, snoring softly. I closed my eyes and quickly fell asleep, dreaming of the blonde who had the softest green eyes.
