Ayana X Andy

Ayana's pov:

I walked down the street wondering what Andy wants to talk about.
Lately he has been a bit off, I think he wants to talk about that.

Ayana:" hi."

I greeted my best friend as I saw him in the park.

Andy:" hey, how are you?"

He hugged me.

Ayana:" good. You?"

Andy:" good."

Then a small silence fell upon us.

Andy:" I asked you to come here because I want to talk to you."

He started speaking and I listened carefully to his soft voice.

Andy:" I. God, this is hard. Lately, I have felt something different, towards you. "

He spoke hesitantly and consciously, thinking before speaking.
I listened to him and at every word he said I felt more confusion filling my head.
He feels something different, for me.

Andy:" we have been best friends for so long and I've always thought that what I felt for you was just brotherly love but I was wrong."

He took a small break before continuing his sentence and immediately air started missing in my stomach.
A small feeling of frighten radiated in me.

Andy:" I feel more than that I think I am in love with you. "

I let out a breath that I didn't know I was keeping in and thousand of thoughts filled my head.

Ayana:" I.... Andy we can't. If it doesn't work out friendship will be ruined and I don't wanna lose you. "

I spoke not daring to look in his eyes.

Andy:" but what do you feel when your with me,when I hold your hand?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

Ayana:" I don't know, I feel things I've never felt before. You're the only one that makes me feel those things but I am scared of what could happen. I am scared of losing you, Andy I can't lose you. "

I spoke honestly.

Andy:" will you ever stop being afraid of everything. I don't understand how you can get scared of anything. "

He spoke raising a bit his voice.

Ayana:" I'm not afraid of everything. "

I raised my voice too.

Andy:" yes, you are. Just leave everything behind and lose control of everything. You can't control everything. "

He got up but his gaze didn't leave mine.
I got up too and still my eyes didn't reach the height of his.

Ayana:" I don't do that. now I have to go. "

I turned around and just as I stepped forward I felt a raindrop falling on my skin.
I started walking away while the rain started pouring.

Andy:" perfect! run away because that's what you always do. be scared and take control over anything. "

He spoke loudly but I ignored him.
I continued walking while my heart ached.

Andy:" ayana. I love you. "

I stopped. Something in his voice told me that he was desperate to know what I feel.
I turned around and looked at him in the distance.
His eyes pierced my soul and something in moved: my best friend is there pleading me to let my emotions take over my thoughts.
My heart beat so fast and I couldn't avoid listing to it.
I stepped forward and without thinking my legs started moving faster.
I ran to him and as I reached him he wrapped his arms around my figure and our lips met.
The kiss was passionate yet delicate.
He cupped my cheeks and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
The pouring rain fell upon us.
We were soaking wet but it didn't matter.
We pulled apart and our eyes met again.
His blue diamonds shone through the dark of the cloudy day.

Andy:"I love you."

He almost whispered but my heart heard it too.

Ayana:" I love you too. "

We kissed again.
His soft lips moved on mine and my hand tugged lightly at his wet hair.
I've always thought that our loves was purely brotherly but I guess I was wrong.
We love each other.
He's the only person I need and I'm sure that it is the same for him.
It's always been like that.
Just the two of us, against the world and he necereft my side.
That is why I love him.
