The following evening came, and a Mercedes as luxurious as could be, pulled up before the quaint hanok house so as to pick both husbands up.
On the orders of the count, of course, and it was even more dashing for SeokJin.
From the co-pilot's seat, came out a man he already knew in a tuxedo even more stunning than that blue three piece suit he had seen him in when he had met him "Mr. Kim"
"Ye-"
"Good evening, secretary!" the eldest Kim chirped in, as he interrupted his husband, who had though the secretary had meant to address him. An odd sensation took over him once he saw a certain familiarity in the treatment of his husband towards that other man.
"Please!" he showed them the car interiors of scarlet leather "His Lordship awaits... and he doesn't enjoy the wait so much as he does the company I'm afraid" he informed them, with a smile as he helped the eldest in like a gentleman.
"Let us not keep His Lordship waiting, then" the brunet in a tuxedo —a loan from Hoseok, most certainly— smiled at the other two as he got inside.
The Mercedes, soon, drove off from their house so as to cross countless orchards and blossoms —concealed behind the dark and glowing veil of that starry evening— bound for the magnificent Jeon Hall.
"Are you comfortable, Jinnie?" asked the blond feeling rather uncomfortable himself with all that luxury — and he was bracing himself for what was to come in the mansion.
"Of course, oppa, why would I not be comfortable?" SeokJin, smiling in a adorable fashion, with the apple of his cheeks turned rosy, he responded his husband's question, using the nickname he used everytime he was more than pleased. It, nonetheless, was rarely used.
"If you are happy, then I, too, am happy, darling" responded the blond with a forced smile, as he tried to get comfortable on the leather seat.
He had always felt uneasy as he found himself surrounded by luxuries, such as that time he had wandered towards the Lotte Hotel's restaurant, so as to solicit employment during his student years and was, in return, humilliated.
Namjoon turned around from the front "His Lordship and the countess have quite the high expectations regarding tonight, I tell you" he said.
Jin's plump lips formed a cute 'O' in surprise "Countess Jeon will also be there?" he asked, as he had not heard about her as much as he had about her husband.
"Indeed" and Namjoon turned back to face the stone roads. The ride continued in almost complete silence, passing the imposing stone monastery in the midst of the forest.
"What is that, TaeTae?" Jin, in a childish tone, whispered to his husband while pointing in the direction of the old façade adorned with a golden cross.
"An old Franciscan monastery from the times before the Daewongun's* persecution on foreign Christians" explained, whispering as well, his blond husband with a smile.
He had always loved that infantile curiosity of SeokJin's, in spite of being well into his twenties and almost nearer to his thirties than Taehyung.
"You are so smart, TaeTae!" his husband exclaimed, as he nuzzled into his neck with an enormous smile full of pride, and love, and pure adoration.
That statement alone made the insecure Kim feel much better about that whole affair of the count, and the luxuries both would soon come face to face with — luxuries he could not provide Jinnie with, even in three reincarnations.
"What are you thinking of?" the brunet questioned, while he toyed with his hair in quite the childish manner, looking up at him with those big doe almond eyes "Me?"
