I walk into the high school and go to the cafeteria. That's where everybody will go for directions first.

I walk in and all eyes are on me.

I see someone blonde and skinny. I look harder and see that that is Logan.

I squeeze through to him.

He smiles at me. "Hey. Wasn't sure if you'd come."

"Well that disappoints me that you think that low of me." I laugh. "Im actually trying out for cheer leading." I nod.

I can just see his brain screaming yes.

"Cool." He says.

"Capture. the moment." I say pulling out my phone.

He leans his head into me and we do a Miley Cyrus. Tongue out, peace sign on both sides of our faces.

I click the button to take the picture and we pull apart.

"That sure is a keeper!" I say.

"Send it to me." he says.

"I will!"

He smiles at me again.

"What?" I say. He's starring more than usual. "Why are starring at me?"

"Cause your beautiful."

We laugh.

"Lol!" I say. "TFIOS!"

he laughs and continues his stares. "You are but I'm just glad your here."

I smile. he always is just so amazing.

"So how did your day go?" he asks.

"I'm lonely. Though on the way walking here there was some annoyi-" I stop my mouth in mid sentence as the guys from the car walk in, who I was talking about. I close my mouth and roll my eyes spinning around to Logan. "Speak of the devils"

"Bryan? And his brother?" he says pointing to them confused.

"Typical teenage guys asking a girl for a ride. His brother is in my classes." I say kind of sighing it.

"But Bryan?" he sighs putting his hand on his head. "Asswhole" he mumbles under his breath. "Bryan!" Logan shouts.

Bryan turns his head and realises that Logan had called his name and smiles. He walks over to us.

I give the 'really?!' look to Logan and turn to Bryan smiling but he doesn't even see me.

"This is Olivia. Recognise her?" Logan says with annoyance filling his voice.

Bryan looks at me. He raises his eyebrows and turns back to Logan. "This is her?!" he whisper shouts.

Logan nods like Bryan is so stupid.

"I'm sorry man!" Bryan says. "But dam you know how to pick a lady up!"

Woah! Whoah! why does everybody think I'm pretty? Im friken butt ugly! I awkwardly take a step back not wanting to hear anymore of this conversation.

Bryan turns to me and says "Im sorry about that. But you're lucky ya know to have somebody like Logan in your life. Whether you're 'dating' or not." he smiles genuinely and walks away.

I take my steps back to Logan and open my mouth when a teacher starts talking.

He tells us what to do and where to go.

At practice I'm the first one to try out so I get done in time to see Logan.

I walk our the gym doors to the football field and lean against the fence and watch Logan run and catch a football and throw it back. The teacher says he's good and that he made it and Logan makes his way over to me.

He leans on the fence, crossed with his arms like me. He smiles and i smile back.

"Nice job!" I say.

"Thanks! You made it?" he says.

"Yep!" I say popping the P.

"Im proud of you." he says.

Logan's Pov

Standing there talking to her and just being so proud of her makes me want to just kiss her.

I don't know why. I don't even like her like that. But I just have the edge to. And, a part of me feels that we should be together but a part of me doesn't. I mean, like Taylor Swift says, "All love does is break and burn and end" and I'm not having that happen. Even if it means never being with her.

I smile at her and we stand there in silence not completely awkward.

I break the silence saying "Come on! My mom'll take you home!"

We walk along the fence with our fingers gliding along it having our fingertips touch.

When I get to the gate opening, I practically jump on her, wrapping my arm around her neck.

She laughs and I smile seeing her happy.

I open the back car door for her. She plops in and I plop in next to her.

My mom starts driving.

I take my shoulder and bump into her shoulder.

She does it back and then we do it back a bunch of times till we burst out laughing.
