Now in OUR house stands a handsome man who has the same eyes and hair as me looking at us coldly.

"Now as promised im here to take our child." Duke Vertin said coldly.

*scoff* our child excuse me, im only mama's child

"I refuse." I said coldly.

"Shiina!" Mom shouted.

"And why is that?" He asked.

"*Scoff* I refuse to reside with a man who left his wife and daughter and never supported them." I said.

He looked shocked and looked at me sadly.

"Mom why do you keep shouting my name!" I shouted back.

"Well i thought that would be dramatic, it always works in dramas." She said with a wryly smile.

Duke Vertin looked at me and mom sadly.

"I don't take no for an answer young lady, so lets go." He said coldly but a little hesitant.

Duke Vertin looked a little hurt and looked down.

"And also i never agreed that you will take my dear child, i mean i never said yes or anything, you assumed it." Mom said.

Mom you just like said something sad about promises then the next thing you do is roast him.

Duke Vertin smiled a little with sad eyes.

"You never really change do you Alicia." Duke Vertin said with a soft smile as he looked down.

Wait what? I heard that clearly since im close to him and i don't know if mom heard it but itz wide and clear.

He sighed and he lift his face and gone back to his cold look.

"Tsk, i will not take her now as this child will be just a nuisance to MY family but if its the right time i would take her." He said as he left.

"Mom you were like so cool!" I said.

I looked at mom as he look at that man's retreating figure, with pain, love and longing. She sighed deeply and looked at me.

Mom you still like that trash, but i can't say don't love him anymore since he has the same look when he looks at you.

"What did you say sweetie?" Mom asked.

"Nothing Mom! Im just hungry!" I shouted.

"Oh sweetie your really such a pig!" Mom said.

Mom only chuckled.

We walked inside and ate our dinner.
