chapter one

.::Soarin's POV::.

I woke up, exhausted from the long lecture at university yesterday. I rolled over and stretched all my limbs out. I finally gathered enough energy to get up. The cold air punched my skin as I left the warm cozy bed. I flicked my hair then combed it to place. I looked at my calendar then my eyes lit up with excitement, It was Rainbow's Birthday today. I had to get her something special. She was turning 21.

Rainbow Dash was the Peanut to my Butter, she was the Lunch to my Box, she was the Girl of my dreams, and not to mention the best to all my friends. We had known each other for 3 years now, we got together on the night after her birthday. I had already gotten her a 2 year anniversary present, It was a necklace with the letter "R" on it, oh and it was also made of diamonds.

After getting changed, I headed downstairs, and popped a slice of bread in the toaster. I looked at the time, 7:36am, Oh god, i'm late. the toasted popped and I ran outside.

"Hey Soar!" A sweet voice called from the house across the street. Fluttershy, As usual she was watering her plants.

"Where are you off in a hurry to?" she asked, obviously forgetting what day it was today.

"It's Dash's Day today, So i'm getting her something special before Uni."

"It's her birthday? Oh my gosh i completely forgot!" She dropped her watering can and ran inside, she looked Beautiful every day, Wait.. what am I saying, I'm Rainbow's guy. Not Fluttershy's. I walked away, startled at what I had thought.

I walked inside the jewellery store and started browsing.

"You know, not all girls can be brought by jewellery." Applejack. She always tried to make me trip up in life, But not today. She is not choosing what I buy Dashie for her birthday.

"You know she loves me. I don't need to buy her." My mood started to change, I hate it when people try to control me!

"Alright, Alright, but if you really want her heart you should really-" She was so annoying so I cut her off.

"Shut up, you don't know the smallest thing about her." I bluttered out (is that even a word)

"Woah, I know her more then you hot shot, I've known her since we were 14, which was about.... 7 years ago? Haha and how long have you known her huh? 2 years? maybe 3?" I walked closer to her, starting to growl under my breath.

"Just leave me and her alone you Bitch," Just as I said that, Twilight walked in,

"um.. Hey guys, Whats going down" As usual she was holding books.

"This 'man' here was threatening me!" Applejack 'Cried'.

"Threatening you? I was only telling you to back the heck out of Rainbow's life." I closed in but was stopped. Twilight was pushing my away from Apple.

"I am not gonna let you ruin me and Dashie's history together you faggot." As you could tell me and Apple's relationship was kinda bad. I couldn't handle this anymore so I walked out, bumping my shoulder into her Chest.

"Sorry Twi." I muttered as I slammed the door shut. I was looking around the shops, I only had 2 minutes to find her the best present. I decided to organise an extraordinary special gift.
