Chapter 13

You and Bucky stayed in the lab for a few minutes hugging, until Bruce came back in.

"I'm not bothering am I? I'm sorry I busted out the door like this, I just needed to get some fresh air. How do you feel now (y/n)?" Bruce asked.

"I feel.. good, really good to be honest, but my chest just hurts a bit.".

"Yea.. i guess its my bad.. sorry...".

"It's alright Buck." You said and smiled at him. He smiled in return.

"I don't want to interrupt you two, but i need to do a checkup on you (y/n). I want to make sure you are alright.".

"Bruce, i feel great. I feel like i could move mountains." You chuckled.

"Well could be the adrenalin I gave you. "

"Alright then." You said and sat back.

"I'll go get you a glass of water doll.".

"Thank you Buck. I love you.".

"I love you too. I'll be right back" he said and smiled at you.

"So it's now serious between you two hm? I mean it was just a matter of time with you two." Bruce said while he began to do the checkup.

"Seems like everybody knew it befor we did." You joked "by the way, how was the date with Nat?".

"It was great. We just went home a bit sooner than we thought." Bruce said with a grin.

"Oh..did you.. you know.. heared anything?".

"What? Nooo." He began to laugh.

"Oh.. thats so awkward.".

*meanwhile in the kitchen*

Bucky entered the kitchen where the others were waiting.

"Oh my god Barnes what happened?" Nat asked "We only saw Steve running up and down.".

"I don't really want to talk about it Nat, but she is okay now.".

Steve came in and walked over to Bucky, whi just filled a glass with water.

"Tony will be here as soon as possible. How is she Buck? Don't tell me she is..".

"No, she is alright Steve. Thanks to Bruce, he brought her back.".

"Brought her back?! What are you talking about? Boys tell me what happened.".

Steve looked at Bucky, who was still a bit under shock. Steve could tell that Bucky wasn't feeling good after what happened in the lab, I mean he almost lost the one he loves the most.

"It's alright Buck, go back to her she needs you right now. I'll explain everything to the others."

"Thanks Steve" Bucky said with a smile as he picked up the glass of water and walked out to go back to the lab. Before he entered he knocked on the door and entered the lab when Bruce opened the door.

"How do you feel?" He asked as he gave you the glass of water.

"Good, what about you? You still seem pretty shocked Buck".

"Well I almost lost you.. so of course I am.".

"It will be alright Bucky." You smiled and gave him a kiss.

"I hope so." He smiled.

"So it seems like everything is fine (y/n), but still I want you to stay in bed until Tony is here and I get the results of the blood test." Bruce said.

"Alright.. seems fair.".

"I'll stay with you (y/n), if you don't mind of course.".

"Of course i don't mind Buck, also i have to tell you something, but fist let us go in my room.".

"Okay." Bucky said and picked you up.

"I can walk Buck!" You laughed.

"Just let me carry you. Bruce would you mind to open the door?".

"Here you go" Bruce said and opened the door.

"Thank you."

"Very welcome." Bruce said with a smile.
