Chelsea’s Story
“Come on, you’ll be fine!” I smile at my boyfriend Zayn
“I know. I just don’t want you to go to California without me” He pouts
“Aww! I wish I could stay here too. But it’s a tradition I do every summer” I sigh, looking into his eyes
“Chelsea!” I hear my mom yell from the front door
“Hi mom” I turn away and smile at her
“You excited for your trip?” She asks me
“Not really” I look back at Zayn
My mom walks close to me ‘Don’t let a boy ruin your time with your family”
I give her a glare “I’m not. But I am going to miss him. He’s the love of my life”
“You have 3 days until you leave. I don’t want him to be holding you back”
That’s the thing I don’t like about my mother. Ever since my parents got a divorce, she has ruined every relationship i’ve had
“Okay mom. Look, I want to go out so I can see my friends before I leave, is that okay?” I ask her
“Yeah. Go ahead” She sighs
I walk back to Zayn, pulling him with me to the car
“You really going to see your friends?” He looks at me
“I did that yesterday. I just want to show you something” I smile
“Alright” He winks at me
*Later*
“What’s the surprise?” He asks me
I stop the car at a coffee shop
“I have the surprise with me” I grab my bag from the back seat
We get out of the car. Zayn stands there as I walk inside
“You coming?” I laugh
He shakes his head and walks inside with me. We find a table and get our drinks
I pull out an envelope and slide it next to him
“What’s this?” He asks me
“Just open it” I instruct him
I grin as he opens the envelope carefully...
He looks at me and smiles happily “You didn’t have to do this!”
“Yes I did. You wanted to come with me to California. I decided that I can’t go a day without you”
“What about your aunt?”
“She is the only person that thinks that we have a good relationship. She told me that she can’t wait to finally meet you”
He walks over to me and picks me up
“I can’t wait for California!”
“Me either!”
